Sometimes I might say I wish someone would die, but I don’t really think that they deserve to die just because they pissed me off. If I had such power, I would have to stop myself from being selfish with it and putting away someone who I have a simple grudge against. I’d need to think it through, and try and pick the person whose death would benefit the most people. Like Regis! So maybe.
I could never do something like that.

But yeah, I'd be pretty bummed if I did cause someone to get hurt or killed, even in self defense.

No. I wouldn't feel guilty but my perception might be altered. I've done things that I approved of [see the past tense] and don't approve of anymore. [sex with a certain person over and over for a year and a half] So killing someone may change me into thinking it's not thaaaaat bad or something. Depends on who and with what gun, if it was like a really bad person and I had something like a rocket launcher then yes in a heartbeat. I probably couldn't kill anyone I know unless I really don't like them and even then I might have regrets after.

If it were in self-defense, heck yeah. But otherwise? No. If the person had killed my family/friend(s), but gotten caught by the police, I would leave them to either get the death sentence (which I'm opposed to) or life in jail. 'Cause... killing doesn't really bring my family back, ya know? =/
If they hadn't been caught by the police, and were still out and about, I might. In a way of making sure they don't show up in my house randomly in the middle of the night to finish the job, or kill anybody else.
