Screw the Old we have n00bs!

In response to the "What happened to the 03-05 crew" thread...

EoFF is fine with some of our n00bs, don't listen to the old members remiencing they are just angry that there are new people here :P

How long do y'all newbs (1-2 years of being here) plan on staying here?

This thread primarily isn't for oldies considering if you have been here for a long time you probably don't have much a plan to leave.

PS- Y'all that are bitchin' bout people leaving and newbs joining should make a forum exclusively for yourself so we don't have to hear y'all bitch ya here?

PS-S- I plan on stayin' for a while, y'all better toughen up and get used to GoBo's constant annoyance.

PS-S-S- Does anyone think that in '09 or something we'll see a thread asking where everyone from 06-08 went?

Also, it isn't so much people hate n00bs per say. It's some that just dont pay attention to any of the rules or anything and post whatever smurfin' words come to their head at the time or pointless posts such as, well I hate to say it this.

Just calm down.

I have to admit, loads of the most recent n00bs here piss me off, they don't know anything and just do every damn thing wrong. I was never like that when I joined...

Seriously though, I think newbies are great. EoFF needs new people with fresh ideas to liven the place up, and it's nice to talk to different people and make new friends. Yeah, sure, there are a few of the newer members who are idiots, but some older members are idiots too. Take me, for example!

It's about time I mentioned this actually. This place is remarkably newbie-friendly... meetups prove that (the UK one anyway, apparently next year I have to be some kinda newbie ambassador and persuade more of them to turn up). So I don't really think there is any kind of gap between newbies and otherwises.

What I don't expect it to be is n00b friendly... there's a difference between a n00b and a newbie, if you have no idea what I'm talking about then odds are you're still a bit of a n00b yourself.

I think if your title was "Screw the Old we have b00bs!" you would win the argument. Oh well!

and also what do most of you consider a n00b as now, how long are you here for or how many posts would you have when your considered a regular well known member???:rolleyes2

Things are different. Some people don't like different. I make my fair share of complaints in private conversation, but I've yet to leave yet. Eh, I agree with Psychotic. Some of the newbies suck, but so do some of the oldbies. That's just how it is.
