SO GUISE! What did you all name all your characters? and why.
I named Tidus "Tidus." Because it was the default.
So, who exactly did you think was namable in this game?
I named Tidus things like "Him" and "He." Now people can't say that his name was never said in FFX!
in fact how in the hell did the party knew him he never even introduced himself...
well i named my tidus JoseRizal... after the philippines national hero lol
Why would they? Tidus is referred to by name in every Blitzball game, and one of the Aurochs calls him by the given name in Kilika (after Sin's attack).Quote:

i called him seymour once just for the laughter effect. i presume that by naming chars ur referring to aeons. opn that same play through i gave them stupid names like "box" and "hemmeroid"
I wish you weren't allowed to rename him. That way, they would say his name and people wouldn't mispronounce it.
Tidus: F***hole (or any other appropriate profanity, uncensored of course)

Ixion: S***pony
Bahamut: S***wyrm

Anima: Paingasm. Because every time Yuna summons it, its awesomeness would undoubtedly cause her to orgasm painfully, hence "Paingasm".
Nah, they did say his name in Kingdom Hearts. Then said it different in Kingdom Hearts II. This means it will never, ever be possible to determine which was correct. Also, seeing as his Japanese name was "Ti-da" or something like that, that's equally inconclusive. Squenix really suck at continuity sometimes.Quote:

not another pronunciation thread guys. I left them all default but one time i tried to screw up the aeons names by making them the other religions/mythologies like Ixion to Ramuh. Not all worked...
It's been a while but I seem to recall going with a Legacy of Kain theme with my Aeons: Kain, Raziel, Mortanius, Ariel, etc.... Seemed to suit them, especially Anima.

I guess it would be too much to have a FF villain to say Vae Victus! :D
And it is just me or does the music you hear in Baaj Temple sound like a lost track from Soul Reaver?
Sadly, I just heard about Tony Jay. He's done so much voice acting it's a shame Square couldn't get him for an FF. :cry:
I had a god/ess theme for my aeons. Ifrit was Charon cos he seemed to come from the underworld. Ixion was Minerva, goddess of wisdom. Shiva was Freya (Norse mythology, its cold up north I suppose). Others were standard except the Magus Sisters. They were Genie, Sharazad and Fugazi. Worked for me!

Its stuiped calling them diffrent names (no offence to people who do) ff should stop putting the that thing to make them change names they cant intoduce them selfs when Tidus finds that sphere that Yuna made before going to the Zanerkand about how much she liked everyone i wasnt sure who she was talking about until he comes on the screen it could have been anyone she said the newest member .:mad2:
I ususally stick with the defaults the first couple of times playing through the game. Then, someday that I'm maybe a little bored, I'll give the characters new names.. sometimes silly names, other times not.
I had an interesting game where my friend was obsessed by this guy named kevin, so tidus became T'Kevil, and I think she wanted to name the aeons after her pets, so valefor was sierra and ifrit was close to being boogerbear, but I think we stopped before then.
but anytime I played it after that she'd shriek 'OMG SIERRA'

I would never rename my precious, but I have considered renaming the Aeons. I never do, though. I'm just not brave enough to face them afterwards :(
I stuck with Tidus. I don't rename characters
