Second because of the battle of the gardens.
1 brings back the most memories
Disc 4 because Ultimecia's Castle reeks of awesomeness.
disc 3 ties up all the loose ends
Missile base infiltration, saving Balamb Garden, Garden Wars.
Disc 2 ftw.
Has to be the 3rd disc easily, the best part of the story happens on this disc!
I like the game, it needs more disks.
The disk where Rinoa dies.
Disc 3. You can master your characters and complete the best subquests without getting trapped in the endgame.
It was hard for me.
Third disk.
Icing to the cake.
Went into a deeper detail of the story, helping it make more sense, and more fun.
And like BG-57 said, you get to level up your characters to the max, with weapons etc, and subquests without worrying about the endgame till you were ready. =D
But the fourth disk was great, due to the ending and the fmv that made your head spin. (SPOILER)Squall's mixed memories of Rinoa and the group and all that, before he fainted or whatever and Rinoa found him. xD
i liked the 1at disk. because you get to meet the characters and you get a shock at the end of the disk that makes you go no!!!! but then everythings okay on disk 2!
3 definitely. That's where all the good action is. Plus you can get good spells on that disc that you can't get on discs 1 and 2.

Disk one for me. I remember it the best, it has plenty of brilliant missions and it's where all the characters are introduced; always good :)

Disc two for me. I've always preferred the first two discs of FFVIII because I enjoyed the evil sorceress with slight political manipulation stuff that was going on. The battle with Galbadia Garden was also my favourite part of the game, I think. Oh as well as the part of the game when you arrive back at Balamb Garden before the missiles hit.
Man, I want to replay FFVIII now.

Probably the second disc.. just so much good action going on there. The first one is a close runner-up.
It's tied between disc 1 and disc 3. I can't pick one.
My Disc 3 is scratched and won't play. :( So I guess I'll go with Disc 2 since it has a picture of Rinoa on it.
My Disc 2 is full of scratch-induced bugs... :mad2: So I won't go for that one.
I went for Disc 1, purely because of the opening sequence. Squall and Seifer in full CG... :love:

I enjoy disc 2 because i the stories really interesting and fun, plus you get some freedom with the garden:rolleyes2

The first disc is the only one I actually like. Disc two is pretty good until the end, at which point the entire plot falls out of my favor.
