personaly mine would be the bows, espacialy the fire one cause its smurfin huge! and so cooool!

As always, I'm a sword nut, but I have to admit that poles are awesome too. Stylistically simple, but such cool attack animations.
I like both bows and guns for ranged weapons.
Overall, the 1 handed swords are the workhorses of my game particularly Deathbringer. I like being able to pair a weapon and shield.
By the game's end, the balance is tipped to 2 handed weapons like Zodiac Spear, Tournesol, and Excalibur. The damage they cause outweighs the the disadvantages.
I'm into meelee so I rarely go with ranged weapons unless I'm trying to spread the party out or else the enemies are weak.
Poles are sexier than frozen jam. Which is darn sexy.

I like the designs for some of the Greatwords, particularly the Excalibur, Tournesol and the Wyrmhero Blade.
the oldebaron looks good so that would be my favouite ranged...haven't played 12 in ages!
i like the formalhaut, its cool it looks like a lil canon. i gave it to fran and she just looks so badass with it.
i also like the ragnarok and how it looks like the ragnarok ship from ffviii, i gave that to Ashe

I quite liked the Zwill Crossblade and, generally, most of the weapons in the game. I really enjoyed how each weapon had its own unique appearance unlike FFX which recycled the several weapons per character. I think, in terms of weapons, FFXII is my favourite. Great variety of them that all have their own uses in the right situation.
