The Chancellor's not actually a villian. Everytime you go against him, it ends up just being Yakra in 600 A.D. and then by Yakra XIII in 1000 A.D.Quote:

I had thought that Lavos didn't create life capable of using magic, but instead, did something to give the currently existing life-forms magic. Then, people forgot how to do it over time, even though they were capable. So Spekkio doesn't really enable or disable magic, he just teaches it. Therefore, the only way he can disable magic is by smacking the main character on the head with a blunt object.
It was the influence of Lavos that altered lifeforms on the planet to enable the use of magic; as for my earlier comment, I merely meant that I like to unlock those types of things.
Magus. His still a villain since he only joined Chrono and gang to get revenge.
