am i the only person who doesnt think squall and seifer dont fancy each other.They want to kill each other when i was on photo bucket i typed in seifer and squall it came up with all of these nearly naked pics of them together i was looking for the bit at the beging where they fight.Do they have a secret crush :confused:

As far as I'm concerned they're mortal enemies. Them fancying each other is something dreamt up by various fan-girls (and boys?), who are also the ones who have made all of this art with the two making the smoochies and whatnot. The same thing has been done with Cloud and Sepiroth paired together and I think I also recall seeing some fan art with Zack and Could sucking face.. brr. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the game.
I think it's partly what Breine said about it being dreamt up by fan-girls/boys but I've always observed that the main cause of the 'lol gay' press has come from people who have questioned the sexuality of Squall as a way to insult or poke fun at the game. I mean, there's probably 'intimate' pictures of every single Final Fantasy character with every other character from the game, regardless of their genders.
It's the internet! Wouldn't be surprised if I found Dr. Kadowaki and Gesper love pics.
Don't worry, fangirls desecrate every fandom with their slash nonsense. Just stay away from fanfiction and LJ communities and you should be able to avoid the vast majority of it.
Final Fantasy 8 is one great big gay subtext. Kinda like Top Gun.

mostly it comes from their hatred for each other some for one reason or another thing its based out misplaced feelings of longing or desire, something neither wants to accept or embrace, so they act out violently
okay, i don't know about the gay porn, but i'm playing the game currently and i think that in the beginning of the game, seifer is the only one that squall likes, except for maybe Cid and Dr. Kadowaki. they have that moment in the square in dollet and his reported death upsets him, or their talking about it. there's also this thought he has after the tv station incident, how seifer wouldn't like anyone taking pity on him
