EoFF First Annual Costume Contest!

I absolutely adore Halloween, I adore the season, the dressing up, the candy, the creepies and the crawlies!!

So I'm taking it upon myself to throw a little costume contest together!

Contestants will submit their Halloween Costume pics via PM to me no later than Thursday, November 8, 2007 11 pm EST. The following day there will be an official voting thread that will end Sunday, November 11, 2007 11 pm EST and the top 5 voted members will enter a final round that will last another 3 days :)

At this time there is no prize aside from the right to gloat.

No cheating plz! :( Pictures MUST be of yourself and MUST be recent (dated October 2007).

Pictures of your costume for this halloween at work, at a party, on the eve of - as long as it's current from this year

What's not acceptable:

Picture of your kids, your friends, random people who's costumes you like and think might give you an advantage in the voting

You kind of stole my idea. It's okay though. I probably would find it a little hard taking care of both the scary things thread and the costume contest thread. As long as no one steals the scary thread idea from me I'm absolutely okay.

I'm still deciding whether I will send in a picture of myself in a costume or not.

I think you should be able to manage to get one picture of you by yourself... if you absolutely can't then make sure we know which one is you... big red box around you, big arrow, etc etc.

i'm gonna be going to a club party on the 31st and thats when i'll be in FULL costume. I cant go through 5 hours of full body paint and hair fixing/makeup twice...i'll probably die of suffocation and/or starvation

Hmm, I might dress up as Jesus, so I might do this.

I'm trying to think of a better idea than "starving musician", but that's my main idea right now. So hopefully pictures will be taken and I can participate.

I likely won't be dressing up this year. But Its always a possibility.

I shall have an entry myself. A Red Son Superman costume I put together myself. Even made the cape myself, and started growing my hair out months ago so I could part it properly and hopefully do the spit curl. This is the first time I've ever put any effort into my costume so I can't wait for Halloween.

I made my costume myself. It cost me over $100 and I had to shave my goatee for it. That really hurt. It received a mixed reaction at Ozz and it was the only costume in the contest to have been booed. However, many people came up to me asking me, "What the smurf was that? I was sure you were going to win," to which I replied, "Yeah, well what do you expect? It's a controversial costume."

I'm not telling anyone here what it is, but you'll see it when Chemical posts it in the contest here and you'll know soon enough.

Lots of great costumes so far, its going to be a tough one.

I forgot to take a picture of myself! Luckily my friend stole my camera during Apparel class and took a picture while I was making angry faces at her!

Well come on!! You're judging the costume. Not the person wearing it. Besides, I don't trust all of you. I don't care how awkward the picture looks with me censoring out my face, my arms, and my location. As long as my true identity remains hidden, that's all that really matters.
