EoFF Impromptu Meetup 2007! (Aftermath.)

Okay, so Jowy was supposed to make this thread a while ago, but he neglected to do so.

It started Friday night. A small contingent of EoFFers were talking in #eoff and randomly decided to meet up to go to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This contingent ultimately consisted of:

Jowy (Eric)
Misfit (Shalyn)
enano (Frank)
Denmark (Rob)
Marick/Dignified Pauper/whatever, he's banned. he didn't decide to come until saturday anyway. (Mike)

We all met up at Eric and Shalyn's apartment to stay the night and go to CSC in the morning. This mostly benefited Mike and myself as we lived 4 and 5 hours away, respectively. The evening consisted of watching Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey and raucous conversation, as the entertainment resources in the apartment are limited as they have not quite fully moved in yet.

I am going to post a few choice pictures from my collection, and then go to bed because I've been up for about 18 1/2 hours at this point and that included a 5 hour drive, hence I am tired as hell. Hopefully one of the others will see this and be able to elaborate some more on the activities, and Eric can post his pictures, of which there are more good ones.

We played with these water spout things for a good while. This was the final fountain creation before it all fell over. It's a shower! Mostly Frank's creation, but everyone helped.

Marick's car equals epic fail. His speedometer wasn't working on the drive back. We were moving at about 45mph when this picture was taken. Marick is attempting to fix the speedometer a la Fonzie fixing the jukebox, by hitting it. It didn't work.

But yeah, there was goose chasing, rock climbing, trampoline flipping, kid snatching, rollercoaster simulating, pancake eating, gross coffee drinking, running-around-naked-out-of-the-showering, submarine wandering, water playing, making earthquakes, cookie robbing, turtle touching, squishy kid toy thing beating, getting lostness... :D

Nice random meetup. But if you all live in the same area it's not really one.

For example I went up to Barrie and met Dyslexicon and Chemical some month or two ago...

PG I had to drive 5 hours across almost an entire state. That's not the same area at all! IT WAS LEGITIMATE.

And I don't remember the running-around-naked-out-of-the-shower. I am so glad about this. I must have still been asleep when that happened.

And our (mine and Mike's) roller-coaster simulation was the worst thing ever xD As opposed to our thinking it would be six random things (such as a barrel roll or a somersault or using the boost to get through), it was the same mystery thing six times in a row.

The random meetups of myself and Jack are legend. We seriously do just say "hey man I'm in town or I'm out of town whatever come see me!" on the phone/msn (web cafe's FTW!) Add in to this the last 3 person random EOFF meetup in the UK at my birthday with Jack and Psy where 2 of us found love, one just found rape...yes Psy got done again but thats nothing new :) Many more EoFF members had invites but none came because they all fail hard!

We were in the giftshop for literally like an HOUR and waited. :(

I wasn't exactly sure who all was going though, since it was a spur-of-the-moment thing and everybody was in the csc chatroom. IT'S NOT MY FAULT!

Yeah, it's pretty damn dark in our apartment. xD I forgot to put the kitchen night-light on for you guys! :(
