Got a life? :D
Yeah, probably :p
Got hit by a train?
Fell in a whirlwind of love, sex, and drugs.
Joined Fight Club.
Died.
Got bored.
Got a life.
Died.
Entered a black hole.
Had too much Uni work to do and so no longer had anytime left for EoFF. ^^ Sounds familiar...
Got a life/had a reason for leaving :)
Pulled a Croyles.
Did a RSL?
And burned at the steak for being a witch.
Mmmm....steak...
I miss RSL :(
We all miss him. :)

Left EoFF for 4chan. Would then return six months later with a plethora of absolutely hilarious gags. Or more accurately, a bunch of stupid six month old memes.
Caves of Narshe FTW
Went on a dark and dangerous journey to save world from mass destruction and darkness from the evil that lurks in the shadows, about to pounce. :choc:
Died
Too busy
Found it boring here
Forgot their password and could be bothered to sort it out:D
Everyone finds out whenever anyone dies!
BoB hasn't released them from his basement yet.
i always just assume that something came up pulling them away from the computer then when they finnaly have a computer back in front of them they forget about EoFF.. i mean i have a life but still come on here after work or various social activities.
WHERE IS MIKZTSU. >=o
As someone who has had 6-month-long disappearances, I can say 6 months is a really long time. I've had people email/call me after a month of being gone. If someone I knew and talked to disappeared for 6 months, I'd be worried. Though if a regular (someone I saw around a lot) disappeared for six months, I'd probably think they just stopped caring about EoFF.
I'd think Bleys happened to them.
I'd think they'd found something else to occupy their time with.
I'd start sending stalking e-mails or something.
If I disappeared it'd prolly be because I forgot to bookmark it or something and then one day I'd randomly remember and come back all epic and stuff.
I'd hope they got a life. :(
Wait
Disappeared from EoFF, or from online?
Because I've had at least 5 EoFFers in close contact at virtually all times in my EoFF career.
If someone doesn't pick up my phone call even ONCE, my mind starts immediately rushing through various scenarios in which this person might be hurt, injured, car accident, mugged, dead, etc. I worry a lot.
For the internet, if someone I talked to regularly disappeared for more than 2 weeks without any sort of notice, I'd probably assume the same things about them that I assume about a IRL person who doesn't pick up their cell. And I'll keep on assuming that they're in some sort of bad situation until they come back to say that they're alive and well. After 6 months, I'd assume that they were dead, and I would be sad.
I'm sure that they're around somewhere else. And I would track them down and demand to know why they left abruptly. I'm sure there's a good reason, in the end.
I hardly ever think something drastic. Reasons for people leaving could probably be:
- Addiction to MMORPG or other games
- Having no internet connection
- Moving house and having no internet connection
- Got too busy with work or education
- Lost interest
In my early EoFF days my parents often got mad at me for being on the internet too long and disconnected my line. I managed to sneak on theirs (we didn't have wireless back then) sometimes.
Now if I'm not around... it's probably because I have nothing to say or just got too busy with everyday stuff.
I worry a lot, too. However, if it's somebody on the internet I'd probably just assume that they've found something better to do. :jess:
Became a follower of the Cynic philosophy, of course
started law school
I'd just assume they fell into a big hole and couldn't get out.
