Just wondering how many times you've played and beaten an FF game, and which one?
FF1 - Twice

I refuse to play X-12 long enough to beat it, same with XII, they both blow in my opinion.
I only play FF's once, unless I decide to do a challenge.

I bought and played FFTA, and I hated it. I don't like how combat is set up..give me turn based/ATB or nothing! which is partly the reason I hated FFXII.Quote:

I totally forgot about the old FF game for the original Gameboy. Final Fantasy Legends. I beat that once, and then completely forgot about it. Now I find out all these years later that they made a 2 and 3 also. Now I'm thinking about buying them from Ebay or something.
FFI: Hmmm. I'm going to say anywhere from 5-10. I really don't remember.
FFIV: 5-10 again.

They FF Legends games are not really FF games. In japan they're Saga games. They're called FF in the US for recognitionQuote:

Well, either way, they're titled Fantasy Fantasy here, and if I'm going to collect every Final Fantasy title, I'll need to buy em.
I'm building up a huge game collection that spans almost every system. I'll buy games and never even play them, just buy em to file em and put em away. I have shelf after shelf after shelf full of games, starting from Atari and on.
So yeah I'll need those fake FF games they released for the Gameboy, hell, I'll play em too, might as well.

They're good games regardless. I recommend playing FF Legends III. IMO it's the best one =)Quote:

FF4 - Twice (once US SNES, once PSX, don't like GBA because it seems to be slow and laggy and buggy on my emulator... plus I hate handhelds so I'll never own the real version)

FF6 - Once, not counting parody hacks which I've completed countless times (PSX, played a particular parody hack on the SNES several times)
FF7 - Couldn't tell you, sorry (PSX and PC; completed each so many times I lost count)
FF8 - No idea, probably even more than 7 (PC once, PSX several, one of which the French version)
FF9 - Um... four times maybe? (PSX... what else is there?)
FF10 - Twice (Guess which format, noodlehead)

FF11 - How do you complete an MMORPG? That's why I don't like 'em :P

"Not yet" means I've been playing it but still ain't finished. "Never" means I don't intend to because I just plain don't like it (and even if one's completed it doesn't necessarily mean I liked it!). Now I gotta go back through the topic and see which ones I missed... hmm, just X-2, not counting the re-titled non-FF games :P

Alright, if we're counting the fake FF games, then add to my list...
FF adventure-- once
FF legend 1-- I'd guess 5-8
FF Legend 2-- Probably more than two dozen. The game has so much replay value that you can complete it, turn it right back on, and do another run-through several times in a row without getting tired of it. Even if you choose an all-mutant party every time they'll develop differently each time.
FF legend 3-- 7-10, probably. Not as much replay value since you're best off with the humans at the end.
They are great. Pretty underrated too. My personal preference is 2 though (see above for reason)Quote:
