When I say words like "mittens" or "latin" or "cotton" they sound like "middens", "ladin" and "coddin", for some reason hard T sounds that are in the middle of a word are just not there for me and they come out D's.

Alot of the time either someone will tell the person I'm talking to what I'm saying or I'll just end up having to go "MITT-TENS" "LA-TIN" "CAW-TIN"

Anyways! What words can you personally not say or atleast have trouble pronouncing? :razz:

I have problems with the word 'millennium'.

I also tend to emphasise the 'h' in words beginning with 'wh.' It's a Scottish thing.

I can't think of anything in particular that I have trouble saying, but my sister is entirely unable to say "treasure chest."

None really. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my speech. If I happen to come across a word I have a problem saying I say it over and over until I get it right. I'm pretty hard on myself. I do tend to get lazy at times and run syllables together. Its really annoying, especially when I hear myself on the intercom at work. I sound like an uneducated hillbilly. And then I get really mad at myself.

spagetti. i say sketti or uhsketti XD misquitos are skeeters or skeetos. cinnamon is cimminim. aluminum is loomnum

Not too many, but sometimes I have trouble with the sound 'L' at the start of words.

Minimum

I simply cannot possibly pronounce it. Every time I attempt to say it, I add an extra "im" or "um".

The Scottish cannot properly pronounce a single word in the English language. :)

I say "Comfortable" "Cumfterbul".

I can't say "Consellation," I always say "Constellation" and I have a problem with "Aluminum"

my friend cant say once(wants:D) or mulusks(mulusksks[lol])

probably, cause Im from North West England and we have the worst accents. None that I can think of just now, though. Pretty much every word is missing out letters!

Being a lazy Northwest Ohioan :p, I tend to pronounce things typically the way they should be, except I say "comfterble" instead of "comfortable."

When i say words with th i pronounce it as f or v and people are like your pronouncing it wrong and im like wtf is the difference!?

I really cant hear one, everyone says keep your tounge to the front or something but i think everyone else is an old fool

Two of my cousins pronounce th's as f's. I can't think of any words with which I have repeated difficulty. I know I frequently mispronounce words, but that's generally out of ignorance than anything else. Once I've been corrected, I don't have much of a problem making the change.

"Particularly" is just a cactus of a word. I dislike it and beat it up.

I can't say Jewelry. Always comes out as Jewry. I also can't say Wisconsin or Minneapolis. I can say them but when I don't think about how to say it they just naturally come out wrong. More like Winsconson XD

this is the correct pronunciation and everyone knows it.

I like to think I pronounce all words in the way that is most socially acceptable. I do occasionally say "pronounciation" rather than "pronunciation" just for kicks though. But no, I don't have any speech impediments. My speech is impeccable, and this implies that any imperfections would be impossible.

My speech is perfect in every way.

Like Mary Poppins...

(I drop t's sometimes and don't pronounce h's... but who doesn't?)
