What pet should the pg get, if any?

I said in EoEo a while ago that Bunny died a while ago. It still feels weird to see the room bunny was in. =(

So I said that my Dad suggested getting a dog. I don't think it's a good idea -- my mother has errands to run and I think she's trying to get a job now that grandmother's better (stroke). My brother goes to school and works with dad. I work, and my kid brother has high school. It's not impossible to take care of a high maintenance animal, but keep that in mind.

This thread is for you to suggest (possibly deviously) a pet that pg should try to get. Personally I'd like a dog. A big dog. A dog I can throw around. A dog I can throw around and get emotionally attached and then cry when it dies in 12 years....

Anywho, yeah, pet. Suggest. Pica? Yes!

Hamsters?

I'm still a big fan of the cat. They are cuddly, clean themselves, and crap in one place. It's all you could ever want! And their tongues all rough-like, and that's just fascinating. You could also get a nun, as they also clean themselves.

Dog dog dog dog dog~!!! Then eat it like a true asian.

Guinea pigs might be an idea, they're decent enough. Or even a cat, which is less high maintenance than a dog, at least. I had a pet tortoise once and they're pretty cool.

Get a cat. They are low maintenance and awesome.

Get a kitten! They're adorable, rambunctious, neat, and you don't have to pick up their poo with a plastic glove-thing!

I'm a dog person myself, but after having lived in the country for a long time with lots of land, I think having a dog in a city/suburb would be depressing. If you have ample yard room that could be fenced in, get a dog, since you like them. If you don't think their life would be very nice, maybe get something that's happier being confined, like a cat.

Dogs are the best! But like Azar said, if the doggy wouldn't get the love and attention that it would need then I'd go for a cat or something~ :jess:

A panda is the only animal suited for you, PG.

Well, anywho, get a Wolf, Giraff, Llama, Cheeta, Polar Bear, Gorilla, a slice of cheese, a Whale, a 2-headed Sheep, Molly the cloned sheeps clone, and name them all Pie!

So, this dude I know got bunch of chickens which was a terrible mistake but he kept them anyway since he's awesome like that and he was telling me about them the other day (and by the other day I mean 3 months ago). And well, chickens just sound like the most awesome pet from what he was saying.

They're so stubid and cute and they'll chase after people who are walking by with food. Plus, they'll eat practicaly anything you feel like feeding 'em but if you don't feed them they'll probably just try to eat your fingers like they did to him.

So that's my recommendation but if your not a chicken person then go for the dogs all the way. Try and rescue a grehound or something they make awesome pets though they have seriouse teeth ishues (not that they bite it's just their teeth are smurfed up).
