Ok, so I'm gonna buy a gamecube soon! Can anyone recommend any games for it except SSB:Melee?

Ok, so I'm gonna buy a gamecube soon! Can anyone recommend any games for it except SSB:Melee?
for RPG, Tales of Symphonia
for FPS, Time Splitters 2 or Future Perfect
for racing, Mario Kart and F-zero
for strategy, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
for fighting, SSB:M and Soul Calibur 2
for adventure, Zelda:TP (if you don't have Wii)
hmm... yeah that seems good to start with
THE JACKEL
What about Crystal Chronicals? Or was that such a bad choice I should go and commit suicide in a dark corner? lol
Crystal Chronicles is mostly a multiplayer game, but can also be played in single mode, though.
Other than that:
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (if you for some reason don't have the original)
- Super Mario: Sunshine
.. There are more, but those were the ones I felt like posting :P
Ok, so I should buy
Tales of Symphonia
Time Splitters 2 or Future Perfect
Mario Kart and F-zero
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
SSB:M and Soul Calibur 2
Zelda:TP
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
and Super Mario: Sunshine
No one is saying that you should go out and buy them, they are merely suggestions. They are all good games, though.
Tales of Symphonia and Eternal Darkness. They're the only reason I'm glad I bought a Gamecube.
Skies of Arcadia Legends, you all fail for not mentioning it 5+ posts.
Fire Emblem:Path of Radiance
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Tales of Symphonia
Paper Mario:Thousand Year Door
Mega Man X Command Mission
Phantasy Star Online Ep 1 and 2(online service no longer exists, but can be played offline)
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Mario Superstar Baseball
Mario Kart Double Dash
Mega Man X Collection
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Super Smash Bros. Melee(sorry, had to recommend it)
Viewtiful Joe
F-Zero GX
Bloody Roar Primal Fury
Mystic Heroes
Baten Kaitos, Chibi Robo, Zelda TP (not very different from the Wii version anyway, and Link gets to remain left-handed), Resident Evil 4... the Cube actually had lots of good games and better graphics than I expected.
I disagree! There are pleanty of seemingly good titles on the Gamecube. Definitely get Wind Waker (try to get limited edition, that way you get Ocarina of Time / Master Quest) though.
I'd say get TP, but to be honest, it seems a lot more fun with a Wiimote than GCN controller.
Usually you can find some awesome deals of Gamecube packages with heaps of games and a couple controllers on eBay. At least, I've seen quite a few -- I might consider bidding on one just for the games.
You should also definitely check Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0.
Don't buy RE4 for GC if you have a PS2 though.
My list of recommendations:
Non-Exclusives:
Capcom VS. SNK 2
Soul Calibur 2
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Resident Evil 4
Tales of Symphonia
Exclusives:
Adventure
Metroid Prime 1
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Fighting
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Platforming
Super Mario Sunshine *Mute when cut-scenes start, trust me.*
RPG
Baten Kaitos
The other Baten Kaitos
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Skies of Arcadia Legends, SSBM, and if it's your thing, Zelda. Everything else on the GC is either bad, or it's good but available on other consoles and thus better there than on the GC.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is probably the best RPG on the system. Just sayin'. :P
Killer7.
I guess people don't like Mario Party? I used to really enjoy it.
I don't have a gamecube, and only play when at home because my siblings have one (each). We play Mario Party but only when we're extremely bored, they usually prefer SSBM (but I don't play that). The only games that I played were Animal Crossing and Wind Waker (Zelda).
