Although I wouldn't consider myself a "nerd" I would say I have "nerdly" features. Obviously, play FF, my favorite series, would be one of those nerdly features. Also, I love to study foreign languages. But, I have other things that balance everything else out. For example, I love to go out and see movies with friends, so I'm not some obese shut-in with no friends. I also LOVE to watch and play hockey (infinitely better than football btw :p ).
Basically, I'm my "nerdliest" when I'm alone.
the only nerdy thing about me is liking games and having a physics/math major.. i just consider the last a garuantee of a job..

I don't have much trouble with most of my degree course because I already know a reasonable amount of the stuff on it. Because I went and learnt it for fun.
I am a huge nerd and totally proud of it. When you're a nerd, you can like anything you want and not care. If you're consciously trying not to be nerd, you can only like certain types of hobbies. Nerd pride parade plz. But that's only true in stereotype land. I'm sure many hottie cool people like whatever they want. But that ruins my fun, so don't listen to that.
I thought the nerds all evolved into several sub-groups o.o
If you were to look at the expression on my face that I have most of the time you probably wouldn't really consider me a nerd.
I just play video games and watch anime but I still hang out with friends and go out and do stuff. But I cant deny im still kinda nerdish.

I picked up a sign-up sheet for chess club today in U.S History, I make awesome grades, I'm in National Junior Honor Society, I listen to J-Pop and classical music, I correct people all the time grammatically. It's weird. I don't look like a stereotypical nerd at all. I'm one of those kids that has a physical appearance that people look at and think to themselves "What an idiot, I bet he flunks his way through 8th grade, the easiest year of school for us thus far" and then I end up owning them at a test or something. I really look and dress like kids in my grade who piss teachers off.

A geek is knowledgeable in technical areas and is likely to pursue a career in one of those areas. A nerd likes anime and plays MMOs. One you can respect, the other you can demonize.

2. worry about money
3. worry about place to live
4. work hard on college/have a job
