It's frustrating because it's based on luck more then actual skill. I managed 0:00:00 on my second attempt during one of my playthroughs, yet the next time I went through the game I spent days on it and never got close. It's probably the most poorly designed mini-game in the whole series.

I remember the time when I attempted this. I was at a friends place, and being the walking walkthrough he is, he was giving me help as I played the game. When it got to this part he started swearing obscenities and I was like 'what?' to which he replied 'f@#$ing seagulls and blitzballs'

Hope its not 2l8 to offer congrats. There is some luck but don't believe people who tell u its just luck. I felt exactly like u when I did it. It can't be such a terrible mini-game when it brings some people such joy!

That minigame is smurfing evil, I had to get someone else to do it for me.
This is coming from someone who thought tunderbolt dodging was easy.
