I really like your style.
If I ever get to learn how to make signatures, I would like them to look like yours.

I actual prefer the other Hellsing one.

But yes, those are all great, except for the last one.

I may be crazy, but that Areis looks a tad bit masculine.

I was going to put as txt 'Owen Macwere' because he made a sig similar to this one ^^ Still this text has more meaning! :) He'd love this sig!

I like it, though at first glance the smooth stock didn't quite work well with the relatively rough background. It might also be the difference in saturation between the two. I like your use of text, it's visible but always takes a back seat to the actual imagery. I really like the art by the way, what's it from?

You've improved very much lately. Your smudging is getting really good, I like these three last sigs, their backgrounds are great.
Indeed, your text looks so simple and easy to read without it taking the glory of the image in focus.
I like to add that part of this improvement is the use of pictures that are high in quality. keep it up, try more styles.

mmm yea this latest stuff is great i like the MU one espically cause its has awosme blending ( me and my blending :rolleyes2 )

but what has really blown me away latley is the text, it looks so simple yet no one else could pull it off like you can do and have done!

Btw I'm converting a lot of brushes these days for GIMP users who can't have GIMP 2.4! :( So I won't be making sigs for probably two weeks (I also have a 10 page essay to make and another exam next week) But I'm still taking request and if I publish some sig here it'll be a request probably!

I'm thinking in giving up graphic design! I used almost no brushes in these art just one or two in text!

NOOO DONT GIVE UP!!!! Your one of the reasons I started graphic designing (I stopped because my teachers are buttmunches thats a different story though) They're beautiful they dont need the brushes. They would only add to the absolute perfection

I almost complained about the inhuman boobs, but then remembered thats what MAnga Carta was famous for, so it's not a legitimate complaint. :P

On the whole love dream one, I love the empty space off to the right.. (No, this isn't sarcastic)

IT gives a feeling of emptiness to it. Good work.

it's great polaris... i love the brushes you added... they fit in great!

although i think you could have done something more with the colors... to really add contrast... right now they look pretty much the same... since the theme is before and after the change should be really drastic... like a whole other feeling... and right now it's not that big of a change...

the image isn't bad at all though, just that it could have been made alot better considering the theme... it's basically a "GO CRAZY THEME" so like spice it up and add tons of colors and maybe even more brushes...i know you can make it really awesome;)

Wow!! it has been ages since I commented here. ^^ Anyway, You have been working really hard during the time I was away and I can see huge improvement here. Only I don't like some of the brush text you used in some of the sigs, your own text looks much better than it, like the one you are using now, it looks so cool.
Keep up the work and try to lessen the use of brushs. ;)

Come on people be artistic, this sig looks really good and different. If it was me polaris who made that sig I'd put text as "Phoenix" Cause it completely look like a phoenix to me and I'd add some black like a shadow under the shape cause after all "Phoenixes always rise from the ashies" ;)
Nice filters, Polaris, but next time when you try to mess up an image the way you did use smudging with filers, that'd work great. ;)

I likie the fact that this has more contrast than the other one... like the blue representing a sky and even a bit of green(ish) to the lower right which is kind of like grass... a great sig Polaris :)

I don't really like the first sig, the duplicated and flipped part is too big, usually they take a small part of the sig and do that to it. Nice colors though, it's not bad to use cheerful colors from time to time.
The Nebula one is better than the version you're using, calmer and that's how Nembulas are suppose to be.

In the first one I don't like the render because to me it's really creepy somehow with the mouth and staring eyes... I think it might be that it's looking at you from two directions, like both the left and right one... and you don't know where to look... although colors are great

the v2 nebula one is as good as the first version, although I like colors so personally i'd choose v1... but v2 is awesome too :):):)

comments and critics??

the vertical one is really cool, although it kinda lacks effects... like something to really make you look...

second is really cool, but i think the left box is a bit too big...

third is awesome (although as you said LQ, but nothing you acn really do anything about...)

fourth is AWESOME, although the left box seems really out of place...

fifth is kickass except the render is a bit hard to see... i mean it's a bit too blurred/dark...

Lol i thought the fourth was awsome too.. and that the box was a bit out there.. but i still loved it :p

I guess I agree with Tim almost about everything he said, except that I don't like the last sig aside from its text cause it has a style. And about the quality, I think most of your sigs suffer that from my look around them and to say you do have a way of making it better through GIMP, so try to find it cause rising the quality will make them so much better, it'll give them a realistic feeling and a clearer view.
Good luck Polaris, oh and BTW. your current sig is really nice and soft but its text is not really good, but I love it.:)

A woman's shoulders wouldnt be as wide on the right side, the toes seem a bit unreal, might want to unseperate the 4 small ones next time. Try to make the foot flowingly(cant say it otherway xD) and the ankles should be a little further down.

Hmmm, nice sigs even though the last one lacks alot of quality but it's good. The first two are cool but the colors of them are a bit over done, I mean I know that you wanted that colors over it but it is done bit too much, try to lower it. I don't know what it's called in GIMP but it's called 'Photo Filter' in Photoshop.
Anyway, the render is nice but I can't see that you did much work there I have this image and it is almost rendered in its self. The white edges around the angel needs to bee removed until then this could not be called a render, it hardly contain that much work.
But keep trying Polaris, I know you'll get there, dear. :)

oo i feel so special:p naah but seriously yeah i see it... and i think it's great if you're posting stuff like at deviantArt or something. If it doesn't bother you you can make one for me, but now that i see how you used it and like the concept, i think I can make one on my own too :) (i'm not completely helpless :p) so maybe i'll try to make one on my own first (if i fail you can make one for me if you have the time, although focus on your studies first ;))

but for now i think i'll just leave out name completely for a while at least... because i kinda realized that if i don't use the sig myself it's kind of pointless... although i was thinking of trying to make some tutorials (i know i'm not that good but still for people who are beginners it's still good to learn some basics :)) and then the watermark will be a great anti-rip :)

hmm nooo it doesn't amtter if it's easy or not, what matters is that the result is nice... not that you work yourself to death... easy and simple is the best always i think :)

and this manip has a lot of potential :) maybe you can add a pattern in pure black on the wall :) it'll look great... like a mural :)

mirror should have a higher opacity... it's kind of bleak now...

and later you could work with colors too, and the result will be KICKASS :)

These(especially the one be4 this one) remind me of a game i once played.. it was called Dreamworld: Oddysee or something.. it had this girl who was trapped in a dreamworld, sitting in white house, with a teddybear, sitting in front of a mirror.. it was a pretty gripping story.

The bunch of them are well done.

The text placement on 'fantasy land' doesn't feel quite right. Though that may be more of a case of too much 'room' on the side with the text.


Your borders are a bit generic(almost all white or black). It may be handy to play around with some other border methods. In some cases it almost looks to me as if the borders were just 'slapped' on for good measure. At least in my opinion they should be more a part of the signature than yours usually appear to be. Basically it feels as if they stand off too much. Some people like that style, so it isn't a real problem. However, I just think they stick out a bit compared to how strong the rest of your signatures tend to be.

I don't know how to make different broders and I don't wnat top use brushes on my work anymore :D So I left the vorders to be plaina nd the sig more interesting

This last one I like.

The blue border when compared the rest of the signature isn't quite as 'boring' as you usually make them. Which is all good in my opinion.

Question though, It might just be because I am tired, but it doesn't seem like you did much with the lighting on this one. My bad if I am just too sleepy right now to recognize it.
