The server the chat is hosted on suffered a hardware failure last night. The server itself has been replaced, but the provider has not yet restored the backups. (I'd love to restore my own backups, but since we won't have a user account until the real backups are restored...) Supposedly it'll be back within 24 hours, but who knows.

Until then we can continue to fail in our backup.
And Aexoden makes his first post since 2006. :p I'm a little weirded out that last night was the first time I had an inclination to go to chat in about a month, and it happened to suffer a massive server crash. :p
It's a sign!
Since I never go to chat, I do pretty much what I always do anyway... and read threads about chat being down. :cat:
