It's safe to say that this is the most depressing year-long gaming self-retrospective imaginable.

I don't think I played many new games, both in the sense of games that came out in '07 as well as games that I hadn't played before. I'll think on it.

Accomplishments for 2007

I screamed into the mic on XBox live a lot and it was funny.
Created the ULTIMATE Version of FF1 in an emulator editor.

That is pretty much it. I did beat games but that isn't note worthy anymore.

Seems like I upset a few people here. I think you lot may have gotten the impression that I dislike Portal. I dont. I just went into the game thinking it would be something mind-blowing. And I just thought it was ok by the end of it. The game only got interesting at the very end in my opinion.

So Ill leave it by saying Portal's ok. Are you lot alright with that? Or do I have to call it great to make you lot happy?

It's all about Rune Factory.

The Bubble Bobble DS I played was not a port... the controls were sloppy and unresponsive. I'm never been too good at games that require coordination, but that one was just frustrating. I couldn't even beat the first boss after I've tried countless times and in the end I sold it.

Harvest Moon DS... well, for reasons I can't make public but I'm sure you can guess I am one of the people who know best just how plagued by bugs that game is.
But what's Rune Factory like instead?

My review of Rune Factory.

From your review, Rune Factory seems to have all the qualities Harvest Moon DS should have had, and missed. But Rising Star Games apparently did not place its hands on it, so I could very well give it a try. :)
