Apparently I do, I introduced this one dude, to another dude, who introduced the dude to a girl, and now they're going out, the dude and the girl that is.

Hum. I cannot really remember if I've ever matched anybody, but I've been matched up once or twice.
The last time I thought I had been matched up, though, I found out that it was my current b/f who had devised a plan with a common friend for me and him to be left alone. XD

This couple, well ex-couple now, got it into their minds that they managed to hook Mike and I up. Crazy.

My mom tried to set me up once! With some dude who was still super angry about his brother dying...like...SUPER angry..ANYWAYS!! That totally didnt work out, lolol. Left that situation pretty quick :D

It's my contention that every time a woman says 'I know the perfect woman for you' to me, she has no intention of hooking me up. This has proven to be true. I was supposed to meet this girl who is a friend of a colleague. Years later and all I can tell you is that we made small talk on the phone and joked a bit one time after work when she called my colleague.

No, I've never even tried to set any of my friends together. I always assumed that if they wanted to hook up with someone they'd find someone themselves. I certainly wouldn't want to potentially mess around with somebody's life and have the whole thing backfire.

My old man introduced one of his friends to his sister. They got married. Then they got divorced. I don't know if my dad feels bad about it or not, though, but that's the kind of outcome that prevents me from playing matchmaker.

Everyone has been saying that they're scared of the outcome and thats why they dont set people up.

But when you think about it, its not your fault they broke up. Relationships fail all the time. Yea its too bad it didnt last, but they got to be in a relationship that maybe they never thought they would get to be in. I wouldnt be scared to put friends together because i'd know that after they go on their first date, its not up to me what happens, i digress. And thats just the way it is.
