I like the biscuits at Red Lobster, but I don't think they're the same Biscuits as this thread talks about.

Not really, but I s'pose they are a little bit interchangeable when used by lazy people.
The french word for cookie is biscuit...but biscuit has taken to mean something like a scone in our neck of the woods, like a 'tea' biscuit is awesome with soup or stew.
