C9 Mafia I - TOWN WIN! LEADER OF MORTALS IS A HERO!

At the request of Psy and Lekana, I'll host a standard C9 game. A C9 game is a setup with 1 cop, 1 doctor, 2 mafia and 3 townies. The doctor and cop may or may not actually be used. Only 7 people get to play, and this should go very fast.:p

2 scum, 3 town, 1 cop, 1 doctor

Me too, sounds awesome.

I recommend days lasting either 48 or 72 hours (I recommend 72!). 'cause basically if the town mess up day one and day two - and no doctor save - then it's game over.

Also a note on strategy to whoever is mafia. Yes, I'm Psychotic, ph43r me!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: But seriously, this isn't like the big mafia games where there's so many faceless people, where you're not likely to find the cop right away and they're not likely to find you. In C9, there's a very decent chance he'll investigate one of you. You have to do all that you can to find out who is the cop 'cause if you don't whack him then you're in a hell of a lot of trouble. If you want to win, target the role, not the player.

I looked it up for you! The 1 cop, 1 doctor, 2 mafia and 3 townies has a gamebreaking strategy where the cop claims, doctor protects them. Apparently they solved it using binary and the binary translated to C9. They then switched to randomising between the four set ups I listed above 'cause there's no game breaking strategy there. So now you know!

And we have our players. Days will last 72 hours, or until a majority lynch is achieved. Nights will last about 24 hours, and any night choices must by submitted by that time. If you don't submit a night choice, you will not do anything that night. Role PM's will be coming out right after I go to random.org to assign roles.

I must agree she dose seem adamint about not giving us much to work with. But with such a small game we have to be very careful about who we vote for, and we are in no rush to point fingers ;)

But I would like to hear more peoples view on peoples behaviors. I think Jojee seems pretty innocent, she hasn't been in a rush but she is also being stricktly goofy and avoiding being serious.

Psy has said all there is on Shiny, I must admit she is acting kind of akward.

Psy has seemed like a smart townie right now, though it is a bit strange that he has been so focused on Shiny, but I think that is probobly becuase she has been the only person that has givin us anything to work with X_x

I can't really get much of a read on anyone else. Goldenboko seemed like he was in a bit of a rush to get things moving along, but I think he was just getting bored of all the spam.

Those are my thoughts on the matter for now.

I haven't only been thinking about EoFF. Also, there's a difference between trying to form an opinion on something, then trying to form an opinion on something happening and constantly changing. You and Shiny have been continually going at it while I'm trying to think changing what I think.

Anyway: I've come to this conclusion.

Either...

A. Your mafia, who's kinda blew it, and trying to stick to his argument. So he doesn't look susipicous for having a random change of opinion.

OR

B. You had a vibe about Shiny, and you want her to continually talk, until the Cop has a reason to investigate her.

Ok, there is alot there, alot of very good points, but also alot of speculation.

GB I think what your going at, saying that Psy is Mafia because of him attacking Shiny is a bit far fetched. But then again he could have gotten alot of practice at mafia. I have only been in the last two mafia games, and if I recall Psy wasn't in either of them (correct me if I am wrong) so then he could have looked at the mafia, as you have been saying he is a rubbish mafioso, and paid attention to how good mafia payers played. I don’t know, just gonna keep in mind.

I am also not convinced that Goldenboko is Mafia, you make alot of good points Psycotic, and I certainly find him suspicious right now and he certainly seems more suspicious than Psy unless he is playing very carefully, but I haven‘t seen enough against him ‘yet‘. But here is what I am thinking...

If both members of the mafia make it to tomorrow then they are looking strong, if they can make someone look guilty tomorrow they can win the game. So right now I am looking at LoM and FFfreak.

I am not saying either of them are guilty, I am just saying that right now they are both laying under the radar. If they both make it through today (and they happen to be mafia) then they can become more active tomorrow and by looking at our disagreements today and make one of the more vocal players today seem guilty. If we have a cop I would highly recommend looking at them, as of right now I would worry more about LoM than FFfreak, as I don’t think that a member of the mafia would say nothing, and would instead try to lay low.

This is pure speculation though, just food for thought.

Psychotic, your making my posts look way more suspicious then they actually are. My first two you've brought into accusation actually coexist pretty well. I started with some patience, going to let the people run the course until they where ready to get serious, then losing patience tried to point out we actually had something going on, and to pay attention to it.

My idea was that really crappy Mafia players try and get some suspicion on someone, really quickly. I can actually bring up lots of examples, Edgar, you in the Pokemon game (I think you where Meowth), Slowpoke (xD). So when I see someone going after target after target, I normally throw a red flag near them. I didn't get that whole 'just trying to get opinion vibe' so I threw a red flag.

Anyway, if your just trying to get people to post then good work... I guess >.<

They both seemed eager to participate when they joined, but then after getting roles all of the sudden they were no where to be found. Leader of Mortals was online for a few minutes yesterday, but didn't post that much in this thread. Despite the fact that he was reading it. But then again, he could have just been catching up.
