So why do they keep making them? Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Date Movie, now Superhero Movie...

They aren't all bad. Scary Movie 2 was hilarious, and I though epic movie was good for a few chuckles. The rest range from mediocre to crap.
I liked Scary Movie 3. I agree, most of the others are pretty crap. But sometimes, you just need to watch a crappy movie.
I saw Scary Movie and walked out of the theater it was so bad. I haven't bothered with any of the others, obviously.
They keep making these movies becuase god hates us.

I don't know who keeps funding these movies, but they need to not be allowed to spend money anymore.
As soon as I saw that Chris Crocker bit in the Meet the Spartans movie, I knew it'd be bad :rolleyes2 but some of the others are okay n.n

The reason they keep making these movies is because it's taking so many for people to stop seeing them. From this evidence, I would say it's going to take 4-5 more before the budget eclipses the gross.

The first Scary Movie had its moments. But every other movie along those lines is garbage.
They are lame, yes, but they make a lot of money, which is why they keep making them. And I must admit that I've found myself laughing at at least some of the "Scary Movie" movies.
