I really like deliberator, it's a nice little twist to battles, Im disapointed this move wasnt transfered to later games

AutoCrossbow or Flash, depending on how you've built Edgar, and depending on the situation.

The Auto-Crossbow is so useful in the first half of the game and the Drill is great at damaging a single opponent. I've always like the consistency of the Drill's damage to that of the lots-of-damage or the try-to-insta-kill of the Chainsaw.
Mullet is my least favourite tool. :monster:
I love the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Edgar.
Chainsaw. I can just picture Edgar laughing madly while holding it and slashing enemies.
Flash gets no love these days.
It's a very misunderstood tool.
I enjoy all the tools, except for Air Anchor I remember it only being useful on one enemy, and beyond that I never got it to work out well.

Chainsaw ftw. It's only annoying when he tries to insta-kill bosses.
Fav tool-- As cool as it is to watch him strap on a hockey (whatever that is) mask and frickin' end someone, I'll go with the noiseblaster just because it gets me through that mountain in the beginning of the game that I can't remember the name of.
Least fav tool-- that band with the 20 minute long songs that all sound the same. Or the Debilitator, I never use that.
My fave is probably the Auto crossbow. So useful in a part of the game when you have very few means for hitting more than one enemy at once! <3
A special mentioning to the Noiseblaster just for its hilarious graphics.
Least fav, I think the Debilitator. Is ti useful for anything at all?

I like the chainsaw the best. It looks so awesome when Edgar just spins around in a circle with the chainsaw crazily. After that it'd be the drill since drills are really underrated weapons.
My favorite tool is Flash. I think that it would have been more useful in the original version if the Darkness status actually did something besides prevent Strago from learning Lores by visual aid.
Does anyone like the Air Anchor? What does that do, again? I used it like once or twice before going back to the Chainsaw.
If Air Anchor succeeds, it instantly kills the target after they make a move action.
Basically the heat status in FF IX.
Favorite is Auto Crossboy. Followed by Drill, then Noiseblaster, Flash, Debilitator, Chainsaw, Air Anchor, then Bioblaster.
Does the Air Anchor inflict damage if it fails to inflict that status on its opponent?
No, but it won't miss if the target is vulnerable to ID attacks.
That's also why I like the Air Anchor and prefer it over other ID attacks.
My fav Tool is Noiseblaster and my least favorite is Chainsaw (yes, I said it :O), it looks cool, but I dislike it's ID chance and so prefer to use Drill.
I didn't use the Debilitator on a regular playthrough, but I used it pretty often in my Low Level Natural Magic game...
I thought it did like, a few points of damage?
Yeah but only if it hits (afaik), and since it will miss if the ID status cannot be applied (which was Roogle's question) it doesn't do any damage. At least it was like that in the PSX and SNES version.
Autocrossbow is my favorite tool in the game, it is useful pretty much throughout the entire game. I liked Noiseblaster the least, I just didn't use it that much.
