Slightly inspired by another thread, I thought this could be interesting.
Of all the FF-games that you own and like - which one would you get rid of first and why?

final fantasy 4
because i have 2 copies of it
I-VI because i can justdownload thempurchase them legally again :shifty:
Final Fantasy VII was the first I got and the first I got rid of. I traded it in for Wild Arms... because I was an idiot. :eep: But I bought it again some years later.
FFI&II: Dawn of Souls because I can get it back for £8 at Gamestation, lol

feck sake thats exactly what i done!!!
cept i traded it in for,get this, fighting force hahahaha
what a stupid nugget i was
FFVIII. I never enjoyed it as much as the others.
FF7. I didn't it enjoy as much as the other FF games.
Keeping in mind that this only applies to the Final Fantasy games I own and like, probably my PS1 version of IV because I also have the GBA version. If I have to get rid of a game completely, probably Final Fantasy Origins.
FFIX, it was just a tribute for previous FFs anyway so nothing original there to enjoy only a little nastalgia, the ability system was seriously flawed, and a completely useless Trance system made this game utterly unenjoyable for me, so if i were to get rid of it i don't think i'd even notice it missing... also the strategy guide for it is a total joke since half of it was on PlayOnline, accessable by keywords, and has since been removed from the website since it is totaly dedicated to FFXI now, i consider the Strat Guides as part of the collections and having a half completed guide is like buying broken merchandise...
Elly: But what FF would you give away that you liked and found enjoyable?
X-2, because it's awful.
Elly, I agree with you. I would eliminate Final Fantasy IX from my video game collection because I dislike its overall design as a game. I would not miss it compared to my other Final Fantasy games.
I remember when PlayOnline was meant to be an video game community rather than an online portal, too, and I remember that the strategy guide was entirely useless and video game vendors were being pushed to sell it.
I would eliminate Final Fantasy X-2 — if I had to choose from a game that I liked — because it is still readily available at major retailers as a new or used game at a low price because of its high production volume.
VII, because then, we wouldn't have the stupid complination.
one that i enjoyed but would give up would prolly be IV, it wasn't my favorite and it's available in so many formats now that getting a new one again would be fairly easy if the desire took me to get a replacement...
Mybrother'sSpanish copy of FFVII - because I can't understand Spanish :D
I no longer own any.
Based solely on which one I could live without, I would say VI.
Based on which ones shouldn't have been made (not the topic but others have stated) I would say XI should've been FFO, and IX could've been a spinoff as it offered little innovation, and was the only post-FFV installment (barring XI) that didn't introduce a unique world-setting.
If I had to give up one that I enjoyed, it would probably be FF2. I couldn't get by without 4 or 6.
My copy of FFIVA - 'cause there's gonna be a DS remake and I'll probably never play it again :P
FFII since it's work rate is diminshing
Probably FF Anthology (4&5) as it's the one I'm least likely to play
Final Fantasy Anthology: I have Final Fantasy VI on the SNES in excellent condition, still, plus Final Fantasy V Advance and Final Fantasy VI Advance on the GBA (I no longer have my GBA, but I play my GBA games on my DS now). The videos, I can always watch them on YouTube or something, and you can find most, if not all, of the graphics in the gallery online.
I would also part with Final Fantasy Chronicles if I didn't already sell it years ago. Which I kinda regret now because my SNES copy of Chrono Trigger was stolen. Oh well. I can live without the horrible loading times, and I can play CT on an emulator until I get a new job and get to buy a CT cartridge again on eBay or something.
Final Fantasy X-2, perhaps. Or my French copy of Final Fantasy VIII, because I have to keep my dictionary by me. But it's fun to go back to, to note the translation differences. Squall is so much nicer in this version.
probably x-2 because while you do need to play it more than once, you don't really need to replay it more than once more than once.
Or ff7/9 because I could just get ISOs and emulate them xD (i wouldn't want to get rid of my actual ff8 though)
Probably FF Anthology (4&5) most likely. If I were to play the games again (which I almost certainly will), I'd go for the GBA or SNES versions in all honesty. The load times are horrendous and there's really not much benefit in playing them now.
I would get rid of my FFIVA.
I liked it, but I can live without it.
Anthology (NTSC version) because it has crap-tacular load times. I love VI and have other mediums by which I can enjoy it. :D
FFVIII because I need to replace the first two discs anyway :eep:
EDIT:
I wanted to say FFIV because I don't like it ;_;
FFIII for the DS.
