Which scenes in the FF series just made you want to go "you just got owned!"? If you need a definition of Owned, seek it somewhere else because I can't really define it. =P

Auron's 'introduction' during the Luca Blitzball tournament in FFX. People are running and screaming; he calmly strides up to the 20 foot, four-eyed beast and fells it with one swipe. A very nonchalant, and rather badass, piece of ownage.
Then there's the scene in FFXII when Fran, in a Mist-fuelled frenzy, flips out and kicks the snot out of several Archadian guards despite being in handcuffs.
From a fanboyish perspective, my favourite instance of FF ownage would be the final confrontation in FFVII, when (SPOILER)Cloud uses Omnislash against Sephiroth, venting years of pent-up fury and injustice in 13 blows against his nemesis.
I think either when Kefka killed Leo, or Emperor Ghestal were pretty good

Sephiroth shoving the midgar zolem on a big ass spike is one of them.
Sephiroth using super nova in the final battle.
Even though it makes absolutely no sense how he can use it twice.
Since it's a magic spell that just creates a painful explosion, it's entirely plausible for it to work numerous times:D If he could actually trigger a supernova, then the Black Materia would be totally pointless since he could obliterate everything, himself included, in a flash...Quote:

The first thing that comes to mind is Lulu counter attacking a confused Tidus with a slap across the face.
...but if we're talking about things that always happen, I'd say Seifer vs. Odin or Palmer vs. Truck. Also Aeris getting stabbed in the back with that "Yeah, Cloud's here, everything's gonna be okay" look on her face.

See, I don't consider that, or several other scenes/events listed in this thread, as 'ownage' (or however you would use the word :)). I consider being owned when one uses little effort in a quick, simple action to create a powerful impact. If Quistis had fired one shot that dropped the spider cold, then she would have owned it. The fact that she fired several dozen rounds, and the spider still came on while being fired at, doesn't amount to much 'ownage' in my opinion.Quote:

Kefka killing Ghestal was epic. Not only did he own him by kicking Ghestals lifeless charred body off the floating contient, Kefka then continued to not only own Ghestal, but the entire world.
The entire world of ruin reeks of ownage from Kefka.

back on topic, one ownage I remember was when you first meet Rydia in FF 4 and she summons Titan that basically demolishes Kain and Cecil. More recently, in FF XII Zodiark's Final Eclipse makes for a good ownage sequence.

In Crisis Core, I was in the boss fight against (SPOILER)Bahamut when the DMV accessed (SPOILER)Tonberry. For those who don't know, the Tonberry summon has the Tonberry trying to shank Zack but then the Tonberry trips on a rock and the knife flies out of his hand and over Zack's head, eventually hitting one of the enemies for a :skull::skull::skull::skull: load of damage. This happened in my fight with (SPOILER)Bahamut and ended up being the moved that finished off the (SPOILER)"God of Summons". I laughed hard for a good ten minutes after that...:D

Odin against Cleyra and Bahamut against Brahne and Alexander (all FFIX) were all pretty big scenes of pure ownage. I've got to go with Diamond Weapon being completely taken out by the Sister Ray though. Take that, giant monster that gives a ridiculous amount of EXP!
At the end of final fantasy 8 when Zell chokes and then flips out and starts throwing hotdogs everywhere. I have no idea why I like this scene so much but w/e. Honorable mention goes to Squall telling Quisitis to go talk to a wall.
