What is your favorite type of pen? I like the clicky tops the best.
Pilot G2. They're great.
I just use the regular Bic kind with the caps. The place where I work is very dusty from the products we make so pens die very fast there. It's not really worth using anything else since they won't write after they get clogged up with all kinds of nastiness.
My favorite kind are gel pens, though. :choc2:
B-B-B-Biro!
the cheapest ones I can buy.

This very same brand too.
A Pilot DR or a Rotering.
Bic are the most reliable pens in the world.
My favorite type of pen would have to be black gel pens. But if I can't get my hands on one of them, a simple Bic will do.
I use the pilot g2 as well, but I tend to pick up pens I find that haven't been chewed on and I'll use them if I feel them first. Usually i use a pencil though. I'm very picky about my mechanical pencils. I've been using the same ones for years because they changed the design on them and they felt weird.
REALLY REALLY SMOOOOOOTH BALLPOINTS are fun to write with.
Aside from that, fibre tip capped pens pls kthxbai
Clicky pens drive me bonkers! People just keep clicking them incesstantly!
And yes, ball points are great and so smooth. Let's get married, scrumpleberry.
I use Bic Mediums at work... the thing is I have a habit of biting the ends. I bit the end clean off my current one the other day, and wound up with a mouthful of plastic shards.
I like gel pens, but they tend to smudge. I also love Berol Handwriting pens (a step up from felt-tip; we used to use them at school), but they have a tendency to dry up so that you eventually have to hold them at a 180 degree angle to get any sort of sense out of them; they become useless and uncomfortable at this stage. But put the caps back on and it should be fine)
I like clicky pens, just because it annoys people so much.
Other than that, Bic pens are go. :D
Pentel RSVP is my favorite brand. The only gripe I have against them is that sometimes they leak a bit, but they have a good grip and just fly across the paper.
Quill and ink represent!
Actually I'm not very good at using them, probably because I buy cheap metal ones instead of learning how to cut my own like someone with talent. New goal, I think.
Plus one looks really awesome* using them.
Though, I like ballpoints with the more liquid-y ink if I can find them with a fine enough point. Right now I'm using a Pilot V Ball Grip with an "extra fine" point that makes my small handwriting even more illegible.
*Awesome, in this case might mean quirky or possibly "like a loser" depending on the person.
I've always liked those but I rarely use them.
The pen I use is one of these: http://www.reklamajandek.com/images/...-2-PP13243.jpg
(Parker Vector fountain pen)
I'm on my third. The first I had nicked at school and the second was broken, while I currently own two (one in my pencil case for college, another for when I'm out/at home that I tend to keep on me). Really nice fountain pens to use, inexpensive and they write really nicely. Probably the nicest pen I've ever used on a regular basis.
pig pen
I like pens that are good for being chewed on. You know, the kind that don't burst in your mouth and everyone laughs at you because your shirt is all blue now.
You've got red on you...
Clicky pens are alot ideas and opinions. If you are the only idea that has them then it is all good, if two people have them that ok as well as you both feel special… But when to many people get them people start making annoying noises and someone eventually wants to kill themself.
I'm one of those horrible people who click pens constantly. I like those.
Fun fact: Rye can't write in blue ink. She has to write in black ink.

Pentel's RSVP pen. =D
Of those mentioned, I like twisty bottoms (tops?) best. However, a good grip and a weight that feels good in my hand is more worth than anything.
I write almost exclusively in pencil.
For some reason my handwriting is significantly clearer when I write in pencil. Then again, I write like a girl anyway, so whatever.
This Red Pencil is my trusty partner in crime… and by crime I mean school work and random doodles.
I'm a bit like that. I certainly think my writing looks better in black ink (for some reason), but I prefer the colour of a nice blue, cartridge pen ink. Though actually my handwriting is much neater and nicer looking in fountain pens in general, I suppose, so it's a fairly moot point.
Black pilot G2s FTW!
I'm surprised no one has linked this yet.
I almost never use pens. Pencil ftw.
I love writing with a proper caligraphy set of quills and ink however being left handed I either do 1 letter and let it dry or risk smudging everything up. therefore I either write in pencil so it can be erased of gel ink pens like the pilot G2
Pentel RSVP for pen-spinning.
For actual writing, I use a Zebra M-301 0.5mm mechanical pencil.

I don't ever write in ink unless absolutely necessary.
Clearly the correct answer is gel pens.
I like a good pen 15 too though.
I like the clicky top ones. But I like erasable pens too. :O
I like getting 20-packs with all different colors.
I like clicky tops, their just easy and simple.
Black ink goes better if you have funky coloured paper. Inky blue on pinks or oranges = fail.
dont like pens they remind me of work :p
Can't beat a clicky top :D
Biros. But they've soiled my pencilcase in ink
So long as they don't look incredibly cheap, work well and can be taken apart for no reason whatsoever, then I'm happy.
As long as it works and it's not chewed up I don't care. Chewed up pens/pencils are disgusting. I don't understand people that do such a thing.
Chewed up pens and pencils are disgusting.
oh noes i hate teh biros
I'm much comfortable with the capped pens...
my favorite pen is...
Oh you got me there!
The Rapidograph 0.35MM Technical Pen would have to be my favourite.

The only shame in these pens is that they are $35.00 each. As an artist that specializes in pen and ink, however, there is no better pen than these.
Biros are made of win. I used to always write in fountain pen in my early years of high school but I look back and it just looks terrible. I go through a biro every few weeks now xD
Dear diary,
Today someone was clicking their goddamn pen again when I was trying to watch a noir film. I felt like taking it and throwing it across the room. Why can't these pens be discontinued?
Love, Shiny
