So Uwe Boll has said he'll stop making movies if this petition gets a million signatures. Of course, he won't actually do it, but it would be a nice slap in the face. Tell your friends! xD

I approve.
This is better off in the Lounge than General Gaming.
This is a horrible idea. We need these bad movies to show us what not to watch and to make what we do watch seem better than it is!
28158 have voiced their opinion thus far - including myself.
Would be quite funny if he's said it with a mocking bravado, assuming that it would never happen. Still, can't argue with a worthy cause *signs* Doubt he'll stop though.
Edit: 28666 signatures now.
I forgot to tell you all that I signed it earlier today. xD
32245.
I signed and there are now: "47380 Signatures Total".
YES. I signed, 5something now.
51309 as of mine.
Man, really signatures are really increasing rapidly. I'd be surprised and pleased if it reaches a million though!
53984 now. Over 2,000 signatories in an hour. Surely Uwe Boll will stop torturing us because of this alone! :mad2:
Spoony has torn Dr. Boll a new a-hole anyway! :p
Even though Uwe Bolls movie suck, he doesnt deserve this. Hes seems like a nice enough guy and also seems very passionate about his work. Saying I want to end his career would make me as childish as the rest of you. No thanks.
Being passionate is one thing. I've seen plenty of people who are equally passionate about their career, however, who are willing to admit they made mistakes, who are willing to learn from those mistakes, and who are willing to accept criticism. Being passionate does not excuse you from being an arrogant twit.
Now, I would not support the forming of a petition to end the guy's career, but he asked for it. Literally. That makes this totally acceptable. Whether he ends his career or not, maybe he'll learn to be more careful what he wishes for.
Unfortunately, I dislike giving out my e-mail address (not to mention my real name), so I won't be signing.
I love Spoony.
I signed yesterday.
62798 Signatures Total
*signs* This guy is not only a disgrace to filmmaking, but he is also a disgrace to the video game industry. And just sign with a fake name and use fake email address.
This is the guy who said that the reason gamers hate his movies is that they're all virgins who live in their parents' basements. This is the guy who had a giant hissyfit when Wired didn't like his movie. This is the guy who thought it would be funny to parody 9/11.
It's not just that his movies suck. It's that he's a giant asshole about it.

YES WE CAN!!!
73982 as of me
75019 at my signing.
it's over 82000!!!!!
I haven't "signed" because I have a pretty big disposition against online petitions and because I've never actually seen his movies. I mean, people tell me that goatse is bad, but how do I know until I see for myself. . .
The fact that it needs over 10x what it has now leaves me somewhat skeptical.
The fact that it has 4x what it had two days ago isn't a bad sign, though. :P
It's been slashdotted and probably digged too by now so it's going to get big exposure over the next few days.
Uwe Boll Responds To Million Man Petition: "Look, I'm Not A smurfing Retard" (Some foul language)
Basically Uwe Boll saying that Postal is better than any movie of the last ten years and he's a genius.
Currently: 130445 Total Signatures. So there's the 10% mark passed. Also, I don't really have much sympathy because the petition isn't an unprovoked reaction. He can't honestly have believed that he could say something like that and had someone not start a petition.
I was 142609 :)
I have no idea who this guy is. :o
And he's an asshole.
Remember when he beat the :skull::skull::skull::skull: out of Lowtax?
Of course not, nobody posted in that thread when I linked the video last year. :P
Damn, it must suck to be him.
188,000 so far
In his defense, I actually enjoyed In the Name of the King. :p
I kind of enjoyed Bloodrayne 2.
It seemed like a real Budget/Effort-severed movie though...
But it was interesting enough to keep my attention (Billy the Kid and Bloodrayne <3... :3!)
I must say... I await the day someone makes a "Bloodrayne" type movie where she's doing the more Vamp-Logical stuff in the games... as to getting owned in 5 seconds... ._. (and instead foiling evil plans of Vampire Nazis by *rambles on...*)
Signed. It is now up to 198962
xD
He's quickly approaching paranoid schizophrenia.
I feel so bad for this man.
He's already pretty much stated that he doesn't believe the numbers are correct.
Yes. He thinks Steven Spielberg has a LOT of free time on his hands.
The problem is he's doing this to generate publicity for his movies...and it's working. Which means his movies will make more money and he'll get to make more movies in the future.
Im not sure if 'All publicity equals good publicity' in this case...
My question is, why do game makers keep selling him the rights to their games, knowing that he's going to butcher them?
As for the "it's the same person signing over and over", I expected that from the very beginning. There's no way to prove otherwise, since no one is stupid enough to give out personal information. So he will totally ignore it, as we all knew he would. But, listening to his paranoia is fun, so I suppose the petition was semi worthwhile.
This is funny I saw him talk on TV on AOTS maybe about monday. it was funny how he was arguing and the an is bad I went ahead and signed.
Man, I can see why Spielberg would be worried about Uwe Boll. He's gonna stop getting all that critical acclaim when people see all the great movies that Boll's made. You know... all them... great...
Hahahaha!!
Also Skyblade: I get the feeling that money is part of the motivation behind it. Regardless of the quality of the film, they'll generate money and publicity for the makers of the game, won't they? Or at least for the producers of the game.
C'mon guys, we're 20% there!
Stop Dr. Uwe Boll - Signatures
I think it was around 210,000 signatures towards the end of last week. I'm afraid it's dying. :(
This is hilarious. I support it fully.
