I have an idea for the Kingdom Hearts Forum. You know Goldenboko's quiz threads, I think we should start one there. I can also take the Crystal Chronicles forum with a thread about Ring of Fates.
That's a good idea! :] I have some a good idea bubbling for the art forum: A thread about each artist's favorite medium (paint, pastel, tablet, etc), and to show an example of their work best highlighting their skill in that medium. It's interactive and I've never seen a thread like it in the Art Forum.
Sounds good. I'll make those two right now.:p
As a former player of Final Fantasy XI, I can take that forum. Also, as a writer, I'm certain I can come up with something sufficient for the writer's corner. I'm open to posting in other fora as-needed, but those are the two that immediately spring to mind for me.

I think we should take it a little slower, to be honest, unless you're 100% sure you have a good thread and you couldn't improve it. We have 24 hours, there's no rush. But once you've posted your thread, you're STUCK with it, so I wouldn't just post them right away. You might get a better idea later. Just putting that out there for you all. :]
I honestly can't think of anything I could improve on the thread I posted in art, so I posted it in. The other two though are tricky. I'll be taking a while on those.

I have an idea for study hall to make a thread about tutoring - asking about people who have tutored and have been tutored, what was worked well, what didn't, etc. I'm tutoring a girl right now in English and History so I think this would be a good thread for me to make. :jess:

I'm the self-proclaimed Queen of the BushHags, after Necronopticous' Final Fantasy IV: Ah! The Power of Cheese, so I believe I should be able to handle the Final Fantasy IV forum. I'll have to think of something interesting to create a thread about, just so it isn't just a thread about how awesome Kain's hair really is (even if it's the truth). But since we have about 24 hours, I'll manage to find something interesting and unique.
I don't have any preference for the other forums.

I had a really awesome idea for a General Chat thread, I'm thrilled.
I want to make an EoFF version of Post Secret. No one has ever done it before. Every EoFFer who wishes to participate can make an anonymous text confession or send in a post card (a photoshop sort of post card, or a picture of a real one.) Those who are comfortable can do it by PM, but for those who are nervous can send it to me by email. I won't look up their email if it's used here, but I'd recommend using an account that most people don't know of here. They will be posted in the thread.
The rules are obviously that they cannot be insulting or offensively against the rules of EoFF (ie: no porn, no offensive language, etc)

I've had another idea, this time for General Gaming: a discussion about the future of online gaming, text games vs graphical games, multi-player vs solitary, paid vs free, etc. I must admit it's a subject that passions me, being a volunteer staff for an online game. Any thoughts?

So I'm fleshing out my idea for the writer's corner. As a writer, one of the things that interests me most is how a writer deals with the issue of author's original intent. From a reader's point of view, author's intent may be considered, but all writing allows for individual interpretation outside of the author's original intent. I'd like to see how other writers thing about the dilemma each author must consider when writing any piece of work.

EDIT: I also have an idea for Gen. SE, since I doubt anyone has ever made a thread about SE's manga division, Gangan. Though I don't know if it could fit there.
I'll take FFIX if people are okay with that. I think I've got some pretty decent ideas for all of the above. Though I'll be happy to step in and do any others if needs be. When I've ideas for anything else, I'll edit my post accordingly.

Edit: Right. I figured I should give you guys a heads-up of what my ideas are before I post them. The ideas I had were as follows.
FFIX: A thread about 'useless' skills that people don't tend to use (e.g. Freya's Six Dragons) or skills that might be used at the start of the game and then not again (e.g. Freya's Lancer) and whether people found a use for them later in the game or found uses for them in general.

I'd like to throw in support for the the thread suggestions for music, FFVIII (I have the utmost faith that PG can do something amusing with that), the Lounge, and FFXIII.
I strongly advise against the espers topic for FFXII. We're supposed to be making (at least somewhat) original threads, and there was already a huge debate about the usefulness of espers and whether or not people chose to use them in FFXII.
An idea I had for a thread in the FFXII forum was about to what extent people found the environment to be more engrossing. I personally found Ivalice in FFXII to be one of the most visually and aurally impressive I've ever seen in a game and found that the music of various dungeons/locales such as the Sochen Cave Palace really added to my enjoyment of the game. I'd be happy to make a thread along those lines if anyone thinks that's suitable. I'd be interested to see if anyone else felt that way regardless. Threw that in there as an alternative to the Esper thread.
Edit: Also, I really like your FFXI idea, Ouch.
I definitely think this is a much more suitable option than the esper discussion. While talking about the value of espers is a good topic, it's been done before. Right. Edited appropriately, Chaos, thanks. As I said, the thread was a bit difficult to sift through, hence why I put that post together in the first place. Also popped your name down for FFVII, PG.
An idea that popped into head about CT/CC would be something relating to New Game+ though I'll admit that I'm at a slight disadvantage for that forum as I've only played CT. Alternatively I could go for a dull thread about 3 Prism Helms vs. 1 Prism Dress.
Edit: For the FFVII subforums then again, I wouldn't mind taking them at a push. Admittedly I've not played DoC so I'd be more comfortable with AC (which I've seen). However, the thread idea I had was relating to how well the new entries in the FFVII franchise has enhanced individual experiences of the game, whether they've cleared up questions with the plot or created more, that sort of thing. I'd be quite interested in whether I was the only one who seemed to have more rather than less questions in my mind. If no one else wants one of the two forums, I'll be happy to take them provided people are happy with that idea.

I kind of changed a few things. I was messing about with the little white box and so I put in a chocobo. All of a sudden ideas just sprung to mind. So I decided to keep the little white box but keep the chocobo in the middle. The Graphic Designs have the fill in the blanks wihout touching the chocobo. :)

Final Fantasy I:
If you could add one thing to the game, and take away something else, what would you add and remove? I'd add the ability to change class whenever you wanted, including "demoting" your characters, for example going from Knight back to Fighter. I would probably remove random encounters and replace it with a system similar to Chrono Trigger's.
Final Fantasy V:
Useful secondary skills for magic casters. I ask everyone what they like to give to their magical classes. I for one am a fan of the Geomancers' !Earth ability but it would be interesting to see what everyone else can come up with.

Right guys, ideas I've had:
A) Magus-Frog = Discussion of which people prefer: Magus joining the party or Frog killing Magus. Discussion also of whether you think Magus is able to attain redemption for his villainy by joining the party.
B) Prism Helms vs. Prism Dress = What to do with the Rainbow Shell. Think it's a pretty boring idea myself, but an idea nonetheless.
C) New Game+ = A discussion of whether or not people made use of New Game+, what they liked about it and what anything they'd have liked in it that wasn't given.
Which do you guys prefer? A, B, C or none? Obviously we want the most original and potentially great thread.
qwerty: Gotcha. I'll write the one in General Final Fantasy, which will also bring my posts to 4.
Heath: I'm not sure if New Game + was often used in the CT/CC forum (I must admit that while they're some of my favourite games, I don't go there often), but it sounds liek an interesting topic to me. The Frog/Magus one sounds promising too.
I would go with A Heath but it's your dicision. :) All of everyone's threads all look good. I like Rye's secret one, very good idea. I also loved peegee's FF7: Hair Materia, awesome like a possum. :love: Well done group we are getting there. :cool:
Went with the Magus idea in the end because I think it allows for better discussion. I do think we could do with a New Game+ thread though, so I might make one after this round anyway xD

Any word from Linus yet, I can't see any threads made by him in XIII Forum? :confused: If he doesn't turn up maybe a few hours before this round is to be completed or possibly earlier we may need to post his threads. So after everyone is done with theirs and he still hasn't shown up then I suggest that we start thinking of threads for his part.

I can try to come up with something for Final Fantasy Tactics. While I'm not the most well versed in the subtleties of the game (I love it, but I'm not a crazy, crazy completionist), I think I could come up with something relating to its plot.
I think a discussion about the merits of the new PSP translation would be interesting. I know it's come up in other discussions, but as far as I know there's not a thread strictly comparing the two on based on the translation. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. Anybody think that might be a decent idea?

They gave the characters names in II. Could you name them yourself in III, or did they come with preset names?
In the original release of III, the four onion knights had no preset names. In the DS rerelease, the characters were named Luneth, Arc, Refia and Ingus. The thread could be weather or not square should have made as many changes to the game as they did.
