Does anyone know of a good Eyes on Final Fantasy emulator? My EoFF keeps going down, lagging and I'm losing connections. If I could find an emulator that runs more reliably that would be great. :monster:

I use aYion sometimes, it's just as unreliable, but usually is reliable at opposite times, either that or just go play Sonic 2.

I have managed to run EoFF.exe on mac OSX through Darwine fairly well, but it still suffers from crashing.
I'm blaming BoB and Psy :P - because my EoFF has been acting strange as well.
Where can I find an Eyes on the World ROM, I know it's old but I want it now.
I want one too.

I occasionally use Fool's Gold but it's just upsetting sometimes. And so I play F Zero X or Perfect Dark instead. Not sure what elements of EoFF those two games emulate, but they seem to do the trick :D
EoFF has been continuously going down for me the past two days. It's making me very sad! :(
If EoFF isn't working for me I just check Facebook, Sky Sports and LJ. Once I'm bored of those three and if EoFF is still being a pain, I'll watch some TV or play some Halo 3. :jess:
You can register for the EoFF emulator but it comes with big flashing ads unless you download other stuff.
FG is that really really bad ROM you thought was hilariously bad but then realize is just bad.
Aiyon is the ROM that comes in installments that are never finished. Or is that tGA?
GHF is the little known ROM that is far superior to everything else but is liked by that weird old creepy guy that no one wants to go near.
EyesonFF is for the Internetz, right? I can't find a rom anywhere, but I think I might have been looking on the wrong system...

No, the emulator is necessary to play EoFF and the other MBs, which itself would be a ROM, using a sensical analogy. Saying those are all emulators themselves would make no sense.Quote:

An emulator runs roms, yes. EyesonFF is the rom, not the emulator. The Emulator is ZSINTERNET9X.
well the roms are completely different games! you act as though they have special emulating features such as turbo mode, avi recording, or a screen shot function!
I understand you can purchase a copy of the game-engine and it's possible to install it if you have the right hardware/OS/software on your PC. However, single-player Eyeson is very poor.
As for the chat system, it may be an expansion pack to Eyeson's server but it is workable without the original game if you hack it to use IP rather than the domain.
