let's wear a coat in 70 degree weather and see if we die of heat stroke

First of all, :kaocheer: HOORAY! :kaocheer: The weather is finally starting to warm up here. I hate winter.

So lately the weather's been in the upper 60s. A few days ago is was 69 degrees and when I was on the bus going to school, about half the people I saw were wearing heavy winter coats. I had on 2 light, thin shirts (one tank top and one short sleeved shirt) and it was way too much. (I couldn't take off either one though or I'd be showing too much... I'm too modest.)

It makes me mad when I see parents making their small children wear these heavy coats. When I see this I think they're gonna die of heat stroke! I think that should be illegal because that's dangerous. (or maybe I just worry too much)

It's like they're totally unaware of the 50 degree change in weather.

So, do YOU wear heavy winter coats in 70 degree weather or know anyone who does? It's so strange.

Different people view the temperatures differently. In Hawaii they joke that they love 65 degree weather so they can break out their heavy coats where in other parts of the world 65 degree weather is cause to throw on some shorts.

Personally, I don't throw on a jacket until it's under 50 degrees.

Well at least you wouldn't sweat by underdressing in cold weather. lol Even so, that's also very stupid.

It's been 25 degrees, Celsius all week here. I'm getting a wicked awesome tan.

I went all winter in just a small, cute little jacket, it wasn't even a coat, it was just a jacket. I think coats are ugly :p

This winter was pretty mild here, so I just wore a hoodie all year. xD. It's pretty great the the weather is getting hot around here. I haven't seen anyone wearing heavy coats lately. I have seen some kids wearing nothing but a t-shirt though, when the mornings are at least 30-something degrees. :p

A big jacket doesn't go with my outfits though, so I just grin and bear it. It's never been THAT cold that I'd get frost bite though, that's different xD

You do know that guys dont give a damn whether the jacket looks good with the shoes as long as you look hot, right?

fashion can go overboard..

I wear a jacket most of the year. It has to get like 80-90 degrees before I take it off. I'm a naturally cold person.

My Mom still insists on wearing her leather jacket in this weather. It's almost summer, stop it! xD

I usually don't ever dress that heavily in the cold. A jacket is warm enough for me.

This is why I only wear a thong when I ski.

I feel the cold easily, so if it's even the slightest bit cold I will wear a jacket/coat. It's pretty much always cold here, though. :(

I love summer weather when I don't have to wear any coats/jackets. :jess:

No, but I insist on having a duvet on no matter what the weather is.

Even in winter, I wake up sweating, and wonder why. :p

I wore a jacket today. it's 76 out right now.

I'm too use to the heat. Hits below 70 F and I''m cold. I like the 100 degree weather. :cool:

No, my body simply wouldn't allow such a thing. I would be made dead by the sheer amount of perspiration.

I never leave the house without a coat, or at least some sort of jacket. My skin doesn't handle sunlight too well.
