The power of Wii

Now most people talk about how the Wii doesn't have good enough graphics compared to 360 and PS3... but The Conduit may change that. I highly hope this game sees the full light of day is it looks beautiful and would make my Wii even more awesome

I'm just tired of being told the Wii is not a real next gen system. And apparently, so is High Voltage Software. (you should watch the video tech demo in the link)

I've heard of the Conduit before, but I honestly don't think it's graphically impressive in comparison to other games.

they are early screens of a game that does not even have a developer publisher. You really should watch the tech demo video in the link

I have. :p And it does have a developer, it lacks a publisher.

The tech demo was impressive. I'll be keeping an eye out for this game.

Not to dampen everyones spirits but that still looks like an original Xbox game if you ask me. Not to say I think the Wii lacks any graphical power, Super Mario Galaxy looked good.

that's because you're just looking at the early development screens of the game, and you probably didn't watch the tech demo either

at least you can always count on Dreddz to talk trash anything on Nintendo!

I knew people would instantly think im just here to bash the Wii so I made sure to give SMG a mention which I genuinely think looked good. As for the Conduit, I just watched the tech demo and was just saying "And?" throughout. I hate it when people are trying to say something is amazing and revolutionary when it really isnt. The water looked alright but everything else was just meh.

Not saying this game looks bad, its just I dont see what all the fuss is about. Developers should concentrate more on gameplay than graphics, especially when concerning the Wii.

It looks good, but still doesn't hold a candle to what's possible on other platforms right now. (Yes, I watched the tech demo.)

The point is that is exactly what everyone is saying. "Don't worry about the graphics and only worry about gameplay." Simply put, this is to prove that the Wii can have really good graphics as well.

I think that the Wii can easily be surpassed by the other consoles even at its best.

I still consider it to be a next generation console along with the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360, and I disregards comments by others that say that the Wii is in the same generation as the Gamecube, Playstation 2, and the Xbox.

The screenshots do look good, and if all of the jargon they flung around in the demo holds true it's possible that some very pretty things can come out of the Wii. Though, yes, it's still surpassed by titles on other consoles. It's still impressive.

I look at the game, though, and wonder if it's going to be all looks and no real substance. That's just how I get with games that look the way Conduit does.

I agree with Dreddz that it's not very good in terms of graphical ability. If you ask me, the best the Wii has done graphically was Super Mario Galaxy, and the upcoming game "Sonic Unleashed" also seems to be quite pretty.

It looks ok, maybe I'll check it later to see how good (or bad) it gets.

Let's just hope they pick a good publisher, and really put some polish into the game.
