I got a hair cut today. It's now only a bit past my shoulders, this is the shortest it's been in years, I quite like it. Right now, it's highlighted, but the red in the highlights faded out over the months, so they're honey colored. I dislike it, so later this week, I'm going 100% red head. Auburn, to be exact.

I'm quite excited. I'm so infatuated with red heads. It's my very favorite hair color. :bigsmile:

My hair needs trimming and it's time for me to get my hair did. I usually get it styled weekly. (I'm a brunette by the way, unlike Psychotic. :freak:)

Psy has brown hairs...light brown and you all know it.

My hair is black, short, and it gets curly if I let it get longer than an inch or so, so I get it cut to an even 'one' on a pair of clippers. Luckily I have a nicely shaped head.

Mine is dark brown and rather long and voluminous.

My hair's dark brown and is poofy. I got my ears lowered last week though so it isn't so poofy anymore.

My hair is made of win!... I like my hair. It even has a cool natural silver streak in it!

I dislike my hair when it's long, it's always so crazy and messy because it's slightly curly so it gets messy easily. When it's short I love it though, it's so easy to manage and it's just great. At the moment I have mid length messy dark brown hair, but I'm thinking of changing color just to see if it looks good.

I've decided to grow my hair and leave them without dye for the first time since 2001. I now can sport a ponytail! I had to buy rubber bands all over again. XD

Edit: LOL, I had written "robber" bands. What's a robber band anyway? XD

Right now, it's a short cut to where I can foof it up in the back. I have some bangs going on and usually wear a head band.

In the back, I bleached the bottom hairs. In the front, I highlighted my bangs.

I have really fabulous hair. People love it.

I cut it in November and it's grown six inches since then. I do not lie, we measure it's growth at work because the people I work with want it long and mega-curly again. It's curly in the front and wavy in the back because it's short, but once it's long again it'll be really curly. I need to have it trimmed someday so I have layers in the front and length in the back, but I'm too poor.

It's dirty blonde. You can see pictures of it in the album.

My hairs light Red (Strawberry blonde, leaning more into the Strawberry side) and about like 3 inches past my shoulder blades.

Saddly though, because I'm pregnant my hair and nails are growing like SUPER MEGA ULTRA FAST, and since I'm going to have a baby, it'll be easier for me to just chop it off. So yeah, I get to cut my natural curl/waves in my lovely strawberry blonde hair off.

Oh well~

And even though I can't dye it now, when I did dye my hair I'd die it a dark brown. Which is funny because my sister has brown hair so I actually look like her a little bit when I do. xD

I love having long hair, but at a certain length it starts getting disgustingly long. I'm gonna get it cut on Wednesday. Chop off a couple inches, add some layering, maybe some bangs. I like the color of my hair, and if anything, I would want it to be a little darker. Not just black, but jet black. I alternate between wanting super straight hair and wavy curly hair.

Ginger is hawt.

Right now my hair is dark brown and short. I shall have my hair cutter back home, whose name is Jojo, cut it when I get back in three weeks.

I always keep my hair short, 2 by 3 (finger length). It's almost 3 weeks since I had my haircut so its kinda long now. I hate it. My hair is uncontrollable, frizzy and crazy when it gets too long. Its black and its thick, your typical Asian hair.

It used to be combed at a one-sided direction, but now I use wax to style it, and its comb-free.

True story. My old barber used to call my hair 'asian hair'. He would go on and on about how asian hair is stronger than...well, white people hair, as evidenced by it standing straight up even when it's like 3-4 inches long (at least mine does, when I sleep on it all night).

I think I helped his case when I spiked my hair into liberty spikes. I don't have them any more, it's shorter and easier to manage.

I don't care too much for my hair as long as it's short enough to be manageable.

Fun fact: I've never been to a hairdresser. I cut my own hair with a trimmer.

My hair beats yours. It is usually long, but not incredibly long right now. Check out the other thread 'cause I'm too lazy to post a link here.

I have brown-ish hair and it's always been very thick and voluminous. Right now it's medium long.. I'm not sure whether or not I want to have long hair again, but I'll probably keep it like this for a good while.

I've been growing my hair since November 06, and it's still not as long as I want it to be :/

How long is 'super long' and how long is 'disgustingly long'?

My hair's black and it's now the longest it's ever been. I haven't had it cut since august 07.

Being a Pirate I'm obligated to have long hair at all times.

It's meant to be something like this but my hair was too thick and it didn't work properly. This is my usually my natural colour. :)

I named my hair Thor, for it's mighty raw power. It also lets off a bit of lightening from time to time. The only reason I can use to explain that is due to it being the hair of a god, that was transplanted to me at birth.

My hair... dark, wavy, below my shoulders and usually tied into a ponytail for practicability's sake.

Heeeee, that's me. xD Ever since I got my hair cut from being super long and I got layers put in, if I let my hair air dry, it comes out wavy curly. But it's still easy to straighten!

I have a silly expectation of people to not drastically change their hairstyle. I noticed last night that one of my friends used to have long hair, but now her hair is really short. I met her when she cut her hair short, so it doesn't bother me that it's short.

What's particularly silly (I told you this was a silly thing) is that I found both hairstyle to be nice. Meh.

I need to cut it just a teensy bit shorter...and do something else with it. My whole life I've done nothing with it at all except shorten it. It's always been plain and parted down the middle :p

My hair is currently dyed a brown that shines red in the light, which was unintentional but I don't dislike it. It's fairly long and it's layered. I used to have long blonde hair and now I really really want it back; I plan to let my hair grow a bit more damage out and then get it done, probably around Late May-June.

My hair traveled back in time and assassinated JFK

it's kinda wavy (moreso on days like today when it humidrains), but mostly straight and uncurlable, and dark brown. I put it up in chopsticks last night :D

Once it gets past 15 inches, it's getting into disgusting territory. My hair is at about 20 inches right now. It's gross.

My hair is thick and really curly, and I have no energy to have it long anymore. So now it's short and shaved.

My hair is usually spiky (?) in the front, but when I barely get it cut, like recently, I just don't bother messing with it and it gives me a widows peak. I've never been satisfied with my hair though. Just learned to live with it.

Something tells me her hair isn't naturally like that, and it probably takes quite some time to get it that way, since it's all for a photo shoot and they keep hacking away at it until they get what they feel is perfect.

EDIT: Miriel, if you're still reading this thread, where is 15 inches with regards to your body? I mean, is that shoulder/armpit/bust/just-below-the-bust/stomach/waist/hip length?

My hair is unmanageable. I can't do anything with it. It's messy and brown. It's kinda long and I'm trying to grow it out even longer.

My hair is chin length and shaggy ATM, but I'm getting the bangs straightened out on Saturday so it will look better and have time to grow a little before prom. It's dark brown with some red/purple-ey highlights, but I'm dying it dark dark blue in a few weeks.

chocolate brown, layered, reaches about mid-back, naturally wavy. I love it =]

I have long ginger/red/whatever hair. It reaches down to abut the top part of my lower back when straightened. I've never suited short hair and it's been long for the best part of my life.

Also for those wondering, i had it cut and dyed all colorful for an international hair show, which is also included, and then i couldnt keep the color or style....We won 2nd place though!!....So now i just look lesbianish! :D

Cut my hair today.

Chopped off like 4 inches, got layers and bangs. It looks pretty great. Only thing is that my hair dude told me I should get my hair perma-curled and I agree. Don't really have the time, money, motivation to get it done... I just want it. I think it'd look awesome.

Long-ish bangs with layers cut throughout my hair. Except my hair is pretty straight. I'm thinking it would look better if I had it slightly curly/wavy like in the picture.

But my hair is long, so getting it permed would cost like... $200+. =/

Oooh, those are nice! I don't see many side bangs like those, so it's really interesting and pretty.

I know how the perming goes, because I wanted to get a perm so so so badly, before I cut my hair, and my hair was really long. I forget if it was to the small of my back or to my waist then, but it was still long. I love long hair, but it's just so hard for me to manage. ;;

Its gone red..... its almost shoulder length... And its (one of) my favoirite part(s) of me!

It's been dyed! Now it's drying. I hope it comes out the auburn I want, or I'm going to cry. It still looks dark brown, but it's soaking wet and in the dark of a towel, so I'll have to wait and see. :bigsmile:

My hair was blonde or red until just a few years ago, and I'm glad that my hair turned brown (although it's looking lighter these days); brown is my favorite hair color. :hello:

It didn't come out the red I wanted, stupid dumb hair. It's hardly red at all.

I'm dying it again, and using a lighter red so that it actually picks up and turns my hair auburn like in the results pic down there, because using the actual color doesn't seem like it's going to work with my hair. ;;

Dark hair just doesn't dye. You're going to have to bleach it first if you want the results to be noticeable. And when I say dark, I mean not blonde. I have several friends with light/medium brown hair naturally and they have to bleach it whenever they dye it.


My hair is meh. I was under the impression that parting it on the right would make me look older because I have a lot of white hair on that side, however, I was asked if I needed the children's menu twice this weekend (and I have the crayons to prove it), so apparently not. >.>

I'm really don't want to bleach it, because red fades fast, and all of my friends who tried to go red with bleach hair ended up with this wacked out honey-blonde color. Which I do not want. ;;

I have medium-to-dark brown hair naturally and it dyes red without any bleach needed. It just depends on the products you use. :jess:

Yeah, I don't expect it to be celtic orange ginger without bleaching it, but to get it to auburn, which is just a reddish brown? If I use a lighter red than I'd want for my hair, it might finally hold and go to the auburn shade. :jess:

Some of them went missing yesterday. I called the police and they setup a special investigation team for this. Anything grew from me stays with me. Mark my words :mad2:
