Oh, are those like W2 forms? Yeah, I felt really nifty getting mine back.
I feel mature having 2 jobs, it's neat.
I went to an Arsenal game last week, and every time I see Theo Walcott I'm reminded that he's two months younger than me and that it's only a matter of time before the rest of the team are too. It was even worse to go to see the reserves and realise that I'm a full year and a half older than Havard Nordtveit. I'll have to start calling them "lads" soon, and that's the beginning of the end. :(
Whenever I remember that high school is now exactly 4 months away. I remember being little (about 5) and watching the big high schoolers walking by and using language that I couldn't fathom the meaning of. They looked so cool and mature. Soon, I will be there.
All but three of the people in my initial training group at work were older than me!
I have wrinkles.
I'm graduating in about three weeks and possibly moving out by June D: I feel all old like.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and trying to get a second job. I'm 17 we shouldn't have second jobs, that's just not right o.o
Yeah, graduating, turning 18, and moving out all in one summer is definitely a big thing for me as well. xD
I'm undead..it doesn't worry me.
I geuss finishing school makes me feel old, I know I'm not old, but I see year 7s (first year of high school) and they're so small, and fresh-faced, and it makes me feel old. I also feel chuffed that they have 5 years at that school.
living by myself, paying my own bills and working in a professional enviroment.. that expects a lot from me T__T
plus the fact that i havent celebrated a birthday in two years.
and young.. well.. prob the getting drunk part.. but then again.. old people do that too *sigh*
xD I'm starting to feel grown up everyday now.
Talking about bills, car insurance, car buying, needing the get paperwork for military things to give to my soon-to-be husband before he goes off to basic.
Moving.. money.. bills.. baby on the way..
Yeah, lots of stuff is making me feel old. So.. I counter it by playing Yoshi's Island everyday.
People born in 1996 are reading fanfiction and being on the internet. Since when were people in 1996 old enough to read?
moving out and having to answer to someone else. :greenie:
My hair is starting to look like Bruce Willis' hair in Die Hard 1. Soon it will look like Die Hard 2, then Die Hard 3 and then inevitably like Die Hard 4. :weep:
oh and I have to use glasses when I look at things far away. So all in all I have become everything I hated when I was a child. I have become... my father. :weep:
Yeah, taxes definitely made me feel old too :(
what makes me feel all grown up? The fact that I'm basically moving out in June.
Oh my god! Don't mind me, I have the most horrid math skills, and that 10 between 1996 and 2006 translated to a 6 in my mind, for some reason, hence the 7-8. xD
I need to go to bed.
Every time I think abut the fact that in a year's time I will have a BA and will be looking into getting my MA. Couple this with the fact that my boyfriend of the same age is only entering his first year of university this Fall, I start to feel old. Also half of my friends at university are younger than me as well. *sniffles* I do not want to grow up any more...
Seriously. People who tell me they were born in the 90's (95+) make me have to go back and count the years because it feels like it was only yesterday. :weep:
what makes me feel old... oh when my (and maybe my friend's) jokes are WAY more mature then the rest of my class. then again, they don't understand it.
Everything makes me feel old lately. The other day was me and my husbands seventh [dating] anniversary. I've been with the same person for seven years... Yikes!
Yesterday I played the Beauty and the Beast OST in my classroom and my students asked if it was Enchanted. Very few recognized it. Little bastards.
Well, I kind of work in the ghetto where kids don't know anything except what dirt tastes like.
I was approved for a credit card (not the ones that they just send you in the mail either!) and they called me Ms. Byrum repeatedly when I called to activate it.
I'll feel even more grown up when I have used it responsibly for as long as my dad has used his reponsibly (a long time)
Shopping groceries for over $60 at a time. :erm:
Talking about old times and thinking of when they actually were makes me feel old. Living in my own apartment and having friends at university that are mostly younger than me also adds to the feeling :(
I'm 22 in 29 days. That makes me feel old :(
