Grand Masters (Tournament 1: Halo 3)

Well, time for me to do something with my life. And that, my friends, is to bring you a new EoFF Event!

Once every two months, assuming this goes off well, I will be organizing a tournament of a different online game.

Be it PC, Console, or downloaded (Any that require a download I run will be free, and I'll make sure to test it out and scan it for virus's before linking), I'm willing to run a tournament for it.

In addition, I will be keeping a list of each tournaments winners, and they will be known forever as an EoFF Grand Master of the game. (By Forever I mean until the game is used again in a future tournament and they have their title stripped away.)

Given most free games are giving me serious Server issues right now, (At least the ones I know of), Our First official Tournament will be none other then the Cult Class, HALO! (Well, not Halo, Halo 3, but saying Halo alone sounds a lot better. :p)

Depending on the sign ups will depend on how the tournament will be set up.

If there are a lot of people, it will be a Bracket, if only a few, we may just run it as a round Robin.

Admittedly, I do not no much about Halo 3, so I'll be looking into other tournaments for guidelines on putting this one together.

There will probably be another tournament by July though, but the chances of me running another Halo 3 are slim. :p

More then likely, it will either be Mario Kart Wii, or Brawl, as I believe them europeans will have it by then. :p

I am down with the Halo!

I technically have Halo3, but have never played it. I bet I suck. Plus, my gaming time is around midnight to 6AM eastern time.

1) Nominate downloadable games later.

2) Before I forget, all online Console and PC games you would be interested in having a tournament for, PM them to me, and make sure to mention the system they are on. Those lists will be used to determine future Tournaments.

Y'know, this is something I've always wanted to do on EoFF, just never did. Glad to see someone's running with it... even if it's for a game I don't have nor play xD

I would be down with participating, but I've got my finals in the next two weeks.

If this final takes place some time after May 9, I'll be available. Before then, likely not.

If you had done this before GTA IV I would have been down to death but now, there are far more important things to play. :heart:

Psy had this idea. The Browns versus the Blues. The Browns represent Eoff 2.0 and the blues are Classic. Duke it out to see which skin is superior.

That's crazy talk. I don't care if people who like the brown skin are like Char freakin' Aznable at video games, the blue skin > the colour of turd.

1) It's likley it'll be a a week or so before the tournament itself actually starts, so it will be after may 9th.

2) I know GTA IV is out, but it's still pretty new, and I wasn't sure if the multi-player was actually some kind of Vs. or not.

I would be down for a Halo tournament if it's done when I'm around. But my 360's borked right now and I'll be gone most of May, so I'll likely be sitting it out.

Also, do you have Halo 3? Just sayin' it might be a little difficult for you to run a tournament if you don't actually have the game in question.

I'm down to play now that my finals are done. I'll probably suck since I haven't been playing Halo 3 for a couple months now because of GTAIV and COD4.

Oh, and you should totally do a GTAIV one. The multiplayer on that is sooo much fun.

Personally I'd say one of the race modes would be the best, but a standard deathmatch would work too.

Hey, I said quite a while Back it wasn't going to be until the 12th, I needed to give people some time to get their finals out of the way. :p

Uh...yes? Free one month gold trial, anyone? Not that it matters, as I'm pretty sure you only need a Silver account to play in custom games anyway.

People do it all the time just so they can face low ranked players because they're too afraid to play people of their own level.

Eh, actually now that I thought about it I'd probably be willing to just use my XBOX Live account but, I'm having some trouble joining certain games, because I'm on a restricted setting, and we don't know how to change it to open :/

I'm smurfing terrible at Halo but I'd play for fun. I'd like to say yes for definite but it's my brother's xbox so I can only play when he's not in/not playing GTA IV. :jess:

You know, rather then just sit there going NO! NO! NO!, you can give us something to work with.

It might be easier to just add everyone's gamertags and play whenever there are a few people online (and playing Halo 3. If I'm playing Lost Odyssey, frack off)
