Baten Kaitos. One of the few games where I considered turning off the voices entirely. There wasn't a single character in the game who had decent voice acting.
Shining Force Neo.
Super Mario Sunshine's a good contender.
Or maybe Zero Wing.
Although I've been told Crisis Core had some good acting, I still can't get over this scene they showed on G4 that sounded so god awful. If I can find a video of it I'll post it, oh but it was so hilarious, the dialog was just awful no less though. :D

The one thing that really makes me cringe in Crisis Core is in the beginning when Zack says

The way he talked was another thing. It was actually kinda funny for me, he seemed to randomly emphasize syllables. xD

Danika Zu Heltzer/Vasburg from Guild Wars had an atrocious voice-over.
It was like... all, CHIBI O_O! didn't suit her at all xD!
I dont think there was anything wrong with the way Snake talks at all. It is annoying when he over exagerates moments from the earlier metal gear games though. Like when he mentions fighting Grey fox in a mine field. It was alot less dramatic then i expected when i actually played metal gear 2.Quote:

I thought the laughing scene sucked. But Auron's voice actor more than made up for it. Just the right level of badassness. Which is extremely high.

Truly, you people have missed out on the EPIC cheese of Robot Alchemic Drive. (the first one starts at about 26 seconds...but keep watching after that)
I can't tell you how many times I've died in-game because I was dying of laughter IRL because of those voices. I love this awesome, awesome game.

People always seem to not understand that the whole purpose of the laughing scene in Final Fantasy X was that it was SUPPOSED to be forced and awkward. In that respect the voice actors achieved the appropriate feel admirably.
I still mute the volume for it, but they did exactly what they were supposed to do.
Agreed. You'd have to be dangerously stupid to play FFX without understanding that the laughing scene is meant to be about bad faked laughter. It's hardly 'bad acting' if it's meant to sound exactly like that.

Dynasty Warriors has some awful dialog and acting in numerous points.
And the the english voice acting of the Disgaea games is mind numbingly atrocious.

The english voices in the 3-D KoF games are like... almost as bad as the Japanese attempting english in the Japanese voice choice y.y;
Samurai Legend Musashi... the gameplay was fun and the story is entertaining but it loses major points for horrible VAs especialy the voice of Musashi, it's almost unbearable to play with the volume up at any level, though the talking cat was pretty funny at times...
The originial Valkyrie Profile had the worst voice acting I've ever heard. The first Shenmue was very painful listening to certain characters.
Sudeki's voice acting was.... just horrible in places.
DOA 2 extreme. *shudder*
Final Fantasy X still takes the cake for me.
Fran's voice in FF XII. It bugs the hell out of me.:mad2:

Megaman 8. This is proof enough as to why:
MM: "Where is Dr. Wily?"
Light: "Dat's a good kreschun. We may-ay be abuh to wocate enudduh enuhgee emission fwum da wadaw woom.....When we fine dat meteuh, we'w fine Dokta Wawy!"

Megaman X7. Axl and the bosses just sound HORRIBLE. The worst offender is probably Flame Hyenard, though.
"BURN! BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND! BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND! YAHOOOOOOO! BURN! BURN! YAHOO! BURN TO THE GROUND!"
And you have to listen to that for the whole battle. Ick. Vanishing Gungaroo is probably the second worst.
Shenmue, as someone else pointed out. Could Ryo be anymore stilted?

And then there was that Lucky Hit thing. "Would you like to play a game of Lucky Hit?!" "Do you wanna play Lucky Hit?"
Brave Fencer Musashi has okay voice acting, but some of Rootrick's lines crack me up so badly!

"Shaddup ya dumb gal.....or else y'all gon' get a lickin'!"

And the final one I can think of right now, Star Ocean 2. Most of the voices in battle were annoying, but Precis takes the cake, runs with it, falls over on top of it, and then eats the smushed remains of it from the pavement. Her mangling of "Parabola Beam" especially just drives me up the wall. It's not pronounced "pair-uh-bowl-ah," it's pronounced "puh-rab-o-la!" Get it right!
