I still call Haku a she just to make myself feel better. But while I'm thinking aloud here, would Frieza from DBZ be considered a trap? I mean, yeah he's an alien, but I thought he was a woman at first.

Poor Bart from Vandread is an example of what is described here. He fell in love with Buzam and well...it didn't work out too well.

Yeah, Hikaru's action do border campy and insanly awesome, but that can be said about sentai heroes truth be told.
