See Ya, Evastio...

Yeah, I know it's unlike me to get name changes because I hate them so much and I find them confusing, but lately I've been getting really tired of the nicknames people have been giving me like Vasty, Vastio, Avast-yo, Evast, Vasty-Poo, etc. So basically I've decided to change it to something that's cooler sounding (I thought for sure Evastio was a cool enough name though) that people won't be insulting as much.

So between Fiduciano, Aspernatio, Kamundios, Tarboosnan, Syril, and Kyudi which one do you think is the coolest sounding name?

Changing your name is horrible...take it from Dyslexicon...I mean Araciel.

You should change your name to either Peegee, PG, Dr Unne, or Shlupquack.

The names you've suggested are a little weird IMO. I'd stick with Evastio if I was you. ;l

Nicknames aren't necessarily insults, and people will probably give you new ones if you change it anyway.

Especially if you pick one of those. They all sound like pokemon.

There's a reason that I'm not accepting any name suggestions besides the ones I put on the poll. I'm not going to be falling for any embarrassing names you guys will suggest like Anita Dyck, Mike Hunt, Dr. Victor Agina, and other sick names like that.

Yeah, I still find the nicknames annoying though (I get too many awful nicknames because of my weird real name as it is which is why I absolutely refuse to reveal it publicly). I thought using the name Evastio would help cut down on that but I guess it didn't.

I don't see how those names sound like Pokemon though. Well, I guess Aspernatio sounds a little like Lucario. Same with Kamundios and Latios. Maybe I should get you guys to start making fun of the name poll options. Seriously, it'll help me narrow down which name I should pick out of those.

Evastio is a good one. It's unique, and doesn't sound like it goes into some kind of specific style. It came from your unique head. You're Evastio the only!

And when you get a new name I'll think of an equally annoying nickname, and combine it with Evast :mwahaha:

EDIT: To be on topic, all of the new ideas are big, clunky, and really craptastic. Its like your trying to make it unpronounceable.

No matter what you choose, you will get nicknames. You shouldn't look at them as derogative, instead just think "Hmm. These people seem to be comfortable enough with me to give me a nickname." Or, you can nickname them back, that always works.

Avast-yo is an awesome nickname! But Tarboosnan is fun say.

I'm actually wanting to change it to Aspernatio as well since I also think it sounds cool. I'm kind of reluctant to since it means contempt in Latin and people will think of me as some angry psycho because of it (if they somehow know Latin). Yeah, I actually learned that out of curiousity on an online Latin dictionary a long time ago and I've liked it for its cool sounding-ness ever since.

It's kind of strange that you're saying that. That's exactly what my friend said about all the names I made up before I came up with the name Evastio back when we were young. I guess him and you guys do have a point so I might keep my old name.

Yeah, I'm going to miss that too (which is why I'm quite reluctant about getting a name change). Aspernatio is a much darker name though so it isn't all bad.

Let's get some more Tarboosnan love going.

No don't change it. You're Evastio. Ever since i've been here you've been part of the EoFF community. If you change it you legacy will just go poof. I've never added a nickname on your name so there are people who notice you without adding an annoying thing to your name.

I say keep it. You change your name, you change you're entire EoFF history and that's just not cool *cough* james *cough*

OH and half those names sound really girly.

I think Evastio is a good name. Stick with it imo.

Not to mention that people will probably continue to call you by the 'Evastio' nicknames even after you get the name change. :p Just because you change your screen name, doesn't mean that everyone will suddenly forget that you were once Evastio. :p And as it has already been pointed out, people will make NEW nicknames for you. You'll not get out of it by changing your screen name.

But yeah, I'd go with the general "Keep Evastio" thing going on here.

Just do what I do, give yourself your own name to be referred to as. Some people still type out "ljkkjlcm9" which is beyond me when I'm sure 99% of people know me as Jackel

Yes, Syril is really the only appealing name of those new ones. But I think it would be much better if you kept the name Evastio.

I think you should keep your name Evastio. I think it's better than those other names, and like Rubah said, it's iconic.

But i'm not gonna be a hypocrite (anyone remember al-bhed_kid0827!?). Do what you feel is right, and what you feel most comfortable with.

But most of those names sound like Harry Potter spells. And Pokemon, like Azar said. But Tarboosnan is kind of awesome! xD

I like Syril and Kamundios. :)
