F doesn't stand for fail!
Anyway, its a very comfortable 73 Degrees Fahrenheit so I can type my research paper outside today~
Whats your comfort zone with temperature?
70-76ºF. Any different and I'm going crazy, unless I'm doing something outside.
Yeah, 65-75 is good for me. Anything higher makes me sad, and much lower is terrible. ;_;
It is goddamned 95 degrees here today and you all can just go to hell.
Twenty degrees lower would be optimal, but I'd settle for 80.
I'll use C. I don't wanna convert into F. 28~30 for warm, 23 for cold. But I'm more concerned with humidity rather than temperature. I dislike humid weather (but since I'm on a tropical country, I have no choice but to accept)
You have a legitimate complaint because I know you're living in humidity. Right now it's 90 here and feels like 96.
However! In a dry area (where I have only ever visited, never lived), up to 90ish is fairly comfortable, as long as you're not directly in the sun, because it's dry. So anyone complaining about heat in the 90s when they live in a desert area can smurf off.
[/tirade]
Anyway, on topic, I find anywhere from 68-80 to be comfortable. I'll let you figure out which temperature scale.
25 degrees celsius is like perfect for me, which is 77 degrees fahrenheit I thinks. I don't mind it warmer than that, but I don't like the cold. :jess:
Mm-hmm! We went out west in the summer and it was constantly 110~113ºF. But with the low humidity, my asthma was just fine and it just seemed sunny.
But, if it's 100ºF here in Ohio, it's pretty much a guarantee that it's also going to be 90% humidity at the least...
I have found that my acceptable comfort range is anywhere from -5 to 105 degrees, F.
Don't worry FoA. I've spent my last year up in Wisconsin.. and.. it's spoiled me. Now I think 74 degree's is super sweating weather, when in Texas my comfort zone was like 74-80. Up in Wisconsin my "comfort zone" is like 60-70.
AND NOW I'M GOING TO MOVE BACK TO TEXAS NEXT MONTH AND IT'S GONNA BE LIKE 102, I'M GONNA DIE.
The sign outside the back said 92. I hate it, being hot sucks. I want my snow back.
40 - 50 degrees farenheit i d say
About 60º-75º F is pretty comfortable. It's 91 right now. I shudder to think of how July is going to be.
95 degrees...
*dies*
It's actually 80*F here before humidity. I am shocked.
70-80 with little to no humidity is usually fine for me. I especially like when it's like around 80 and windy. Feels really nice.
Today it's beyond hot at 95 but it feels more like 101 with the humidity factor.
I hate it when that happens. Same for when it's extremely cold and you get in a warm car; the same thing happens.
Anyway, my comfort area is anywhere between 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit. I'd convert that to Celsius for you metric users, but it's hot here and I just don't care to. ;)
Anything over 27.C is like OH MY GOD HOT for me :p
20-25 of the kind of degrees non-bass-ackwards countries use.
It's called "altering how much I wear." Now, if this were a topic about the temperature of my car when I drive, that's a very different story.
From F --> C: subtract 32 and divide by 1.8.
From C --> F: multiply by 1.8 and add 32.
From C --> K: add 273.15 (depending on sig figs).
Problem solved.
Anything that causes me to reach for the fan is too hot.
Ack, still 70 during the night! I like it to cool down during the night, instead it just got more humid :(
My fish like it at 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Fish are stupid creatures.
I also like it at 76.
I live in the only place in Arizona where it will snow in the morning and you can die of heatstroke later that same day... :mad:
Apparently it was like 30 something Celsius today, though working in a kitchen with gas stoves and ovens makes it killer. Plus high humidity. x-x;
90s FTW!
75 and sunny, minimal humidity - that's perfect. ^_^
Unfortunately we're full of humidity nowadays.
I was choking on hot air and humidity this morning, because my room is always the hottest room in the house for some reason. We HAVE central air conditioning, but my parents like to pretend we're poor (biggest lulz of the century), so we never have it turned on. And because my Mom tells me (no lie) that people come through windows and steal and rape girls like me, I have to have my window shut at night, because it scares me. And because she tells me (again, no lie) that if I have my fan on the higher setting, it'll come detached and behead me, I have my fan on a low setting than just circulates hot air rather than blows cool air. So yeah. I'm dying.
So it's no surprise that I flipped athis morning a everyone.
It's been extremely cloudy, yet not to cold here in good ole' Idaho. ^_^
Saddly, as an exchange for good weather, it's still Idaho. :(
accuweather says its 63 out, but it's warmer than that, and I like it just fine.
It's 89 right now, and it'll only get higher as the day goes on. It's a good thing I'm inside.
To my knowledge it is currently 91F and the Humidity is something like 54% or so.
And I am told the Heat Index is 98F... no wonder my computer keeps dying from the heat!
My fan is on full blast in the window, my doors are open, I have a virtual wind tunnel going on in my room and it is still so hot that I can NOT even sleep!
Summer sucks donkey [insert your choice of expletive or any word here].
Anyways I personally like weather that is around 40-80F. Depending on Wind, humidity and other weather factors. 40 is nice on a clear day with no wind. 80 is nice on a day with low humidity, lost of wind, and maybe even a light drizzle.
It's too hot to do anything. I was planning to go to Cedar Point tomorrow, but it's too damned hot...
I'll be stuck at home with ice-packs strapped to my body as I lie on the couch watching Oprah... :(
98 degree weather in my humid little seaside town. I dare you to trump this horrible weather. I was melting in school.
Anything below 75 is fine by me. Hell, I can go outside in a t-shirt when it's snowing.
My "comfort zone" is 68-80
I hate going outside after sitting in a 60-70 degree building :(
I'm gonna have a hard time deprogramming you from all these lunatic ideas your mom has planted in your head xDDD
Anyway yeah temperature. It's been 60s-80s here the past few days, which hasn't bothered me at all. It's only a problem when I am in bed. At least I have super-thick heavy-duty curtains, ain't no light or heat getting through that. Bitches don't know 'bout my radiation shielding.
I like it anywhere between 55 and 80, really. I'm fairly easygoing with temperature. I used to have like, cold immunity. Now I'm much more sensitive to it :(
I don't like having fans on high because they're loud. I mean, low is loud too, but I have to have something
I got so used to sleeping with my fan on all night every night last summer than I can't sleep without the noise, not even in winter. Granted when it's cold I point it away from my bed.
Heh, that reminds of my middle school who put giant cages over the fans because they feared that if they ever came down, they'd behead someone. As if the giant cage wouldn't do horrible damage as well.
Yesterday was so hot schools were closed early in my county. Today we didn't even have school because of the heat wave, which is fine by me. :)
