He is actually a girl, and they made him a girl so she would be even more awesome then he would be if he were a guy, which she isn't.
Quina has no gender. Things with no gender can't be homosexual.
That is all.
it certainly is queer though
strange dude
If it has no gender then it should like things that have no gender.
such as?
Quan. :D
Quote:
Homosexual: of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another of the same sex
If you can read you can see the discrepensy there.Quote:
Asexual: devoid of sexuality
Quina is not queer. S/he loved nothing but food and eating. I guess s/he never had real friends before, and (seeing that Quina is not that good in the IQ department) thought that the marriage was nothing more than a game.
Silly DD, Quina doesn't have a soul.
Quina is the definition of sex.
Try looking it up in the dictionary next time. Most people usually miss it - but its there. Watching you.
Yes. Nothing more needs to be said, really.
As for a Qu potentially being romantically involved with a gendered character... nothing wrong with that. Their lack of an inherent sexual preference would, I suppose, mean they could be attracted to males, females, or others just as easily.
I don't know the answer, but I do know one thing: when my kids grow up, they sure as hell ain't playing no FFIX.
Quina likes frogs.
I'm not really sure what the deal with Quina was... I think the writers had a little TOO much fun with IT. lol
Not as much fun as Vivi did. :jokey:
Quina's gender is never canonically confirmed in any way, so I regard Quina as "Asexual (female personality)" as it comes across as quite feminine to me.
Quina took Vivi's innocence. :(
Being produced, you could imagine Vivi being genderless as well. Two genderless characters that married.
You have to sort of have a gender and exist to be queer.
And the (SPOILER)kids at the ending
Is this thread not dead yet. : 0
Yes, totally smokin'.

Zidane says "h/she" so i assume h/she is asexual. so it wouldn't matter
Yes, I think Quina is, in fact, very odd and very strange.
>>> Wasnt Vivi`s adoptive grandpa also a Qu?
man, that story was kind of sad..
Yes, I believe that Quina Quen is queer in the sense that it is strange, but also in the sense that its gender orientation is unclear. LGBTQ people would classify s/he as queer, certainly.
Quina do what want. You have problem?
I dunno, but Quina's tongue must have given Vivi a lot of pleasure.
Wow Shiny, that's so hot I'm gonna go roll around naked in a bath tub full of pictures of Quina.
YouTube.
Well, aren't Quan and Quale reffered as men?
I've always thought of Quina as a woman, personally.
Quan refers to Quina as a male when you first recruit him on the way to Burmecia. "S/he need much learning. Please help him".
Case closed.
Yes, that proves his sexuality?
He can't equip any female only add-ons either.
Saying "him" was probably only a convenience issue, as opposed to saying "him/her" which gets tedious. If Quina was either male or female, there would be no point in saying "s/he" all the time.
The female only equipment doesn't really prove anything, as other restrictions than gender may apply. The descriptions never say all females can wear them.
Quina wouldn't wear it if it didn't look good, either.
I always assumed that they say s/he due to the fact that they don't know what gender Quina is, not that it's asexual or a hermaphrodite. I only thought this since other Qu's are given a specific gender, so they don't seem to be an asexual race.
How do you pronounce s/he anyway?
Protect Girls works.
That is all.
I think quina is a girl, i mean the name quina is a girls name after all.
funny thread indeed:plotting:
