I always have my main characters as classes that can take a lot of hits, so mine was a Knight or something. Something with two swords. :P
I often fin myself switching between Squire and Geomancer. Usually I will level him up enough in Ninja to get two-swords, then Master Geomancer then set it as secondary and finish it with Squire as main.
I seem to just move him along to the next job when available. :/
By the end, there are too many incentives to not have him as aSquire.
I understand what BG-57 is saying but due to the new content I have started to favor Squire for it's versatility. It's it morphs into a more powerful version of any class (except mime, onion knight, and special classes) depending on the skill set you equip.
Personally I use Squire with dark knight abilities as my "beast."
but any class is good really, except calculator and onion knight.
What I meant was that there are a lot of incentives to have him as a Squire. :p
hes a archer/chemist for this one battle (just for the pheonix downs), but im thinking about going over there now and switching him back to knight/white mage (im hardly into it at all. my most extravagant class is mediator or summoner XD)
whats an onion knight?
A Monk who can equip two swords. :D
whats the point in that? monks fight barefisted!!!
i changed. squire/priest barefisted with martial arts set. pretty powerful ims
I usually keep him as Squire, Monk for secondary abilities, two swords from ninja. But later in the game, the monk abilities get so powerful and useful I sometimes keep him as that.
i usually make him a monk near the beginning of the game, and a lancer later on. once you learn when to use the jump technique, you can make quick work of your enemies
i just switched from lancer to samurai
draw out
jump
auto-potion (i only keep x-potions stocked)
gained jp up
ignore height
In my last game I had him as a Ninja Primary with Thief as secondary. It was a pretty powerful set-up
His squire class is pretty damn powerful...that is if you are patient enough. :p
Monk with Throw Objects and a bit of Geomancer (because Geomancer gives a secondary ability that makes fighting barefisted more powerful).
My Ramza is a Square with Draw Out as a secondary skill, Counter as a reaction ability, Defense Up as a support ability, and Move + 3 as a movement ability.
master monk, knight, ninja, samurai, lancer, geomancer, then make him squire for ultima. after that... it doesn't really matter. at that point in the game, your whole party is overpowered for the challenge that remains.
i think i beat the game with him as a lancer :p that way he'll be in the air when altima attacked lol
i prefer ramza holy swordman :P
Is bad ass a class? It should be. Also, teleporting Dragoon. <3
hmm... how 'bout secretary, or in the PSP port administrative assistant
what i did was made him a master at everything and just flip flopped back and forth between jobs
thats what i tried to do. i prefer lancer or chemist though..... *pulls out my ps2* imma play this again...
