Well, the elections are back, and of course, I'll be leading my party back into the fray. I'm going to be campaigning right here in General Chat.

I need at least three other people to join me (Wyll said he's coming along, but we all know he likes to lie. On the other hand, I DO have that spiderman costume...)

We, as good Conservatives, have a true shot at this. Our party platform will be made of only the finest wood!

EDIT: At the time of this posting, we have 20 members, and there are 29 forums. Hence, everybody gets to be a candidate. If you have any specific forum you want to run for, PM me. The list of members, in order of joining is:

After the dismal fate of The Tentacle Penetration Party (TTPP), whose membership when the dust had settled consisted of just Niño and myself, I've deduced that, in this sort of situation, it be better to ride with a secure group than to go off on my own. I might have chosen the Indepublicrats, but they have yet to get organized, so they miss out. You ought to count this as a blessing.

I was just thinking, shouldn't we make campaign pledges that are specific to the forums we're nominated for? Here's some I thought of for the Writer's Corner... MY nominated forum (God knows why, it was my 3rd choice and my 2nd choice is still open...)

"As your local Goatsecs candidate, I am here to make my campaign pledges:

1) I will encourage more people to post here in The Writer's Corner...
2) I will encourage people to offer useful criticism to everybody's work, not just their cronies, and not just slapping each other on the back...

What that you say, it the forum that Sean created about six months ago or so to help the site fix up the mainpage, but in up failing. Nobody evers gets rid of it, so why not run for it. By the way, only the few who Sean picked to post there(me) and the knights will ever see this board, so it just a poor man staff board that haven't got a post since I returned a few months back.

By the way, do I HAVE to have that scary signture in my posts? I rather used my new Lord of the Rings signture down there with some text(when ever I get a chance to finish the signturte).
