There are almost 3x more lurkers than there are logged-in users. What's the matter? Are you actually a member but too lazy to log in? Are you banned? Or a you too scared/lazy/*insert adjective here* to register?

I lurkified for a bit before registering. Then, an epiphany! "I must register!" I can't remember exactly why I did though. Maybe it was to argue with someone or maybe I needed to make a "final fantasy iv is teh boss." thread.

Members: Did you lurk before registering? Why did you lurk and what made you register?
Lurkers: Why are you lurking? (which will require you to register to answer! :cool:)

If you look into it, 50% of those lurkers are Yahoo/Google/MSN/AskJeeves spiders.

Get some Raid and kill the Slurp Spiders if Lurkers bother you that much.

Oh, and yes, to answer your question. I was a lurker for two years before I joined.

I cannot remember xD I know I joined 6 months before my 'official' join date and something went crazy and deleted me D:

I was a lurker but probably only a couple of hours before I actually joined..I was mostly at the frontsite downloading music (before Square had a hissy fit about them having FF music without permission) and looking at walkthroughs :p

I was a lurker back when the forum was still using the eoff clasic skin and I lurked for quite a while but at the time i was rather new to the internet.

I lurked for a few weeks before I finally decided to join. Best decision I ever made :D

Nope Squinn was determined to make me a member of the world of Eoff, so I didn't really get a chance to lurk. Unless looking at Eoff on other peoples screens is lurking? :bigsmile:

Someone recommended this forum to me, so I went here, registered and took a look around. I didn't lurk at all. Usually I do lurk for a while, though.

If I ever lurked it was only for a couple of hours. Through some kind of searching I landed in the FFVII forum and started reading through a massive FFVII General Trivia thread (started by Raistlin seven odd years ago). I read through the whole damn thing and decided I had to register and post in it.

I think I joined immediately after stumbling to this site. Well I don't really remember cause it doesn't have a face.

If I lurked, it was for no more than a couple of hours. Probably not even that long. I was young and naive. If only I knew where it would take me.

I have never lurked unless I was reading an article for SomethingAwful.

i was dragged to this site after complaining that ffgon got boring and mods got powerhungry (i still think about the good times on that forums) from my posting/rping partner. she quit posting at least a year or two ago. no lurking involved...

I didn't lurk. I just jumped straight into the posting action.
