The Mafia Awards

After over ten memorable games of Mafia, I believe it is time to hold and awards cermony. How will it work? Easy, nominate. We will nominate up to three different people each category and on August 30th, I will announce the nominees. After that, we will vote, in which the time comes, I will announce when voting closes. Okay? Great!

Rules
1. If you don't want to nomnated, respond to my 'You're A Finalist!' PM. Depending on the category, we will have anywhere from 3-8 finalists.
2. Don't nominate more than you're allowed, please.
3. Please do not fight or argue.

I fail to see a "Best Teamate" and "Worst Teamate". Something to consider

Best Roleclaim, Worst Roleclaim, Overall user of Roles, and Worst User of Roles should all be considered too imho :O

I think we should have a Most Role Claims award that should be called the Moaning Myrtle Award.

I think qwerty had the idea for this already, so you should talk to him about it.

There needs to be a "Most Fail" category for the move of "I'm the bomb!" *points to rules about no bombs* move from WW III Mafia. :bigsmile:

I bet the Yakuza have already rigged the awards to favor their interests much like they do with the Japanese government.

I think 10 nominees for worst player is a bit much, players that were average shouldn't really be in that category, and due to the shortage of players some of the nominees wouldn't probably be bad at all.

There's no point in nominating for worst player. Everyone would nominate DD :p

I haven't got the patience to play mafia well, so when I'm playing seriously I just make a load of half-assed accusations and hope that I don't contradict myself.

Yeah, I had made a thread in private feedback about this after the end of mafia IX. My awards was actually a lot larger then this( A lot of the catagories you have were split up into several), and styled after the ciddies. (Secret nominations, three threads, second account for the event)

I was going to ask permission to start it when mafia X ended, and you beat me to making an awards thingy.

Well, there could be a 'Best third party' which could include lyncher, jester, and cult. Basically the purple roles. Who assigned the colors anyway?

I obviously won't be nominating or voting in that category. :p

I'm pretty sure that was the first Lyncher to appear in a mafia game.
