Do you all think it's possible to beat the game with a blindfold?
If not, how far do you think I can get?
It doesn't seem particularly satisfying.
Is it just me or does this somehow feel like a jab at the gambit system. I could be making a false assumption
As far as you would in any "blindfold challenge" for any game. :p
Thus proving that doing something that requires sight is impossible without sight.
I am happy with this deduction.
I've read about a blind man beating FFX using purely sound. You just need to focus your senses as needed.
It'd be too easy to get stuck on a wall or a character though if you ask me. I suppose if you spent long enough stumbling around aimlessly trying to find your way you'd be able to get somewhere, but I don't think you could do it without help. Once you need to start developing your characters on the sphere grid you'd be screwed. I don't care how awesome this blind man is, they're not going to be able to effectively navigate that many menu screens without help.
Sure it's possible, it would just take a really REALLY long time.
And I've heard about blind gamers...I've always wondered what a blind someone would get from an FF game. I've also wondered why they'd want to play at all...it just doesn't seem like something would appeal to someone who can't see.
I saw the title and thought this would be an interesting topic. I then saw it was made by DD and my hopes were quickly dashed and replaced with powerful hulk like anger.
I do tend to have that effect on people, must be my good looks.
A dog ran right into the front end of my car the other day...
Actually, I don't have a car.
Blindfoldedness y gamingness in formula have near-zero relativity.
However, can you beat the game with your butt? How about your nose? Any dufus with too much time can beat the game with their feet so don't even ask that.
Never tried, but I can run non stop throughout an stage that I've never played and beat it...
I do not know why, but it happens only with Mario games... Those mighty hard stages were you have one pixel step between pits... I run and go though... Sometimes when I tried to do it not as fast "just in case" I end up dieing :D
