Pumpkin Pie

Today was a pumpkin day! =O

I went to Starbucks and bought a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and then I went to the market and bought ingredients so that I could make my own pumpkin pie!

It came out so good. It was delicious! Maybe it's just because I'm biased, but I think it was the best pumpkin pie I ever had. It wasn't too sweet or too spicy, nor was it too hard! And a little dollop of fat free whipped cream was set it off just right! I'm so proud of myself, I never baked a pie before. Maybe I'm good at baking! :flounder:

Lately pie has held no charm for me, and the very sight of it makes me gag. This means Thanksgiving is going to be awkward.
Probably the only pie I could stomach these days is chocolate cream pie. But I won't make it, because I'm the only one who likes it. :(

I love pumpkin pie too! Yours looks delicious.

I love pumpkin anything, actually. Especially pumpkin ice cream (except from Cold Stone).

Key lime pie please. Although I do like a good pumpkin pie. My boyfriend says the lemon meringue pie I made was delicious but I can't eat it cause it makes me all allergic so I don't know =(

I like steak pies, beef pies, beef and steak pies, and Shepard's pie :D

And yesterday was most certainly a pumpkin day. My wife and I also had Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks and she made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies yesterday. One of the dangers of working from home is that I've been snacking on them ever since.

Oh my gosh, I would kill for pumpkin cookies. I might have more Pumpkin Spice Latte today. I'm so taken by the fall, it's my very favorite season!

I didn't know pear pies existed. I might try making them one day, because we have a pear tree in our backyard! I don't remember what pears taste like though, it's been ages since I've had one, since the squirrels always nab the pears before my Dad picks them from the tree.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's not a bad thing, but they're like a staple in my house. Pumpkin would be nice for a change. Maybe I'll plant a pumpkin or squash plant for next year. :)

Yup. Although, I have recently discovered a weakness for less traditional pies, such as the frozen chocolate ones. Can't remember the brand though.
