Today we celebrate somebody's special day. Another in the huge list of impressive individuals I look up to with respect. Back when he first joined I noticed his eloquent and incessantly positive attitude. It's still festering in there somewhere. How do you do it, Big D?

I'll echo what I said in facebook:

Quarter century - The existential nightmare I went through at that age...you probably aren't going through xD

Here's a thought -- consider the magnificent changes to culture and society in the past 25 years and now consider the prospect of doing it twice more. The progression isn't linear either...

25's not that bad - it sounds and feels grown-up, but it's still young enough that you don't have to be all bogged down with stuff.
