Britney Spears Vs. Marilyn Manson

Okay besides from lyrics these two artists have a lot in common. In long hard road out of hell and putting holes in happiness, marilyn manson was butt naked in both. Britney Spears new Video Womanizer she is butt naked. They both had very revealing cothes or suits and you either love them or you love to hate them. So who is more shocking? Sure Manson is much darker and Britney has a good girl beginning but in the end, to me atleast, are just neck to neck.

Now if Britney spears came out with a religious album based off her stand point and manson did another Golden age of Grotesque move, I think people would compare them a lot more. I'm probally wierd for doing it but hey, oh well.

So who do you think holds the candle for most revealing? or most Shocking?

Wow. I never in my wildest dreams would have compared Manson to Spears. I think this is comparing apples to oranges. Besides Manson isn't shocking...he's just got good business sense. Spears is just slutty. :cat:

I think the only reason Brittany Spears is more shocking is because the media gives a damn about her, much to my dismay. That is all we have heard about is her decline

What the hell is with calling Manson a rapist? Seriously, Manson and Spears are at two totally different ends of the spectrum. People have failed to see that Spears had a mental condition, and most likely still does. And that Manson is just very extreme. You obviously have no idea about BDSM and rough sex.

I think Britney's transformation over the years is what's shocking. I'm not knocking her, but she's gone from one extreme to the other (it seems).

Manson's character is to shock, though. That's what he does - he wants that reaction out of people. Its all for show, though.

To answer the question, I think Manson is the one who really shocks most people because he isn't "the norm" and a lot of people are disgusted by him. I like him.

I would have said Britney is more shocking in her life and Manson on stage before, but lately Britney has her together and isn't all that shocking in any way at all anymore. Her two performances of Womanizer in Europe these last few days were good (and she actually sang too, howdy howdy), and she hasn't done anything completely erratic in a good while.

So Manson. That's a great deal of his act in the first place. They're really quite incomparable, though.
