Screw jogging, power walking is the way to go.
Fo' life.
I'm allergic to jogging.
It's not jogging if you can't do it with QWOP.
QWOP
4 M!
5 miles.
40 minutes or less.
Hilly terrain.
GO!
Ultra-running
With a bike, you can combine excersize with something useful, like going to school or going to the mall.
But no, lazy Americans use the bus or car for that and then go off jogging in their spare time.
Crazy people, I just can't seem to understand them. >_>
Still, I wouldn't want to cycle miles down to get the daily shopping, just to cycle back with extra weight. It may be a decent idea to go cycling, but if they don't it is perfectly understandable.
Trust me, it's a lot less taxing than running. Plus, you don't look stupid doing it and you need not wear your gym clothes. :)
I cycle 45 min to school and back again every day. And on the way back stop for grocery shopping, so return is with a bag that weighs about 8 kg, excluding the 6 kg school bag.
You get used to it.
I NEVER wear gym clothes, they suck. =o

This is why I'm hot!
biking is more efficient than running thus less efficient at conditioning the body as a whole. Zing!
Unless you run qwop style.
Jog, jog, jog~ Nothing like jogging at sunrise early in the morning - keeps me in a wonderful, kick-arse mood for the rest of the day~

The hurdle at 50m ended up finding the best of me.
I find it so hard to motivate myself to jog. I'd love to but I'm mentally unable to!
4-5 times a week, yes!
This QWOP thing is awesome but I can't get past 1.7m =(
I love the feeling you get when you successfully complete a run. It's exhilarating. I think I'll go for a run right now!
I don't do jogging. I do levitating.
I used to run more, but I did too much speed training improperly in school so now my I.T. band likes to try to separate from the miniscus in my knee. I have to stretch forever before and after I run. Does anyone know any cool tricks for working around it? Even when I stretch really well, and after years of strength training it still causes problems.
I bike and swim when I can to make up for it, but it's not as fun.
I don't understand people who run. It is actually the least fun form of excercise ever invented ever.
I'm no good at it.
The elliptical, on the other hand...
I would love to be able jog, but I have neither the time, nor a good route for jogging. :(
I'm a jog-a-saurus.
I've been jogging every day for . . . . like five years? My favorite place to jog is the least accessable to me, though, so I don't get there often. An amazing naturepark with miles and miles of trails in a forest. It's awesome. It was within walking distance from my last residence, but I moved . . . Ugh. When it is snowy or super rainy outside, I run in place as fast as I can in my apartment for a half hour. :P I'm a running-dork as well as an RPG dork. :)
yeah, jogging, running. I only walk if I really have to. I walk to the shop during lunch at college and get the bus back up, that was so funny and embarrasing at the same time.
The only jogging I do is when I'm walking home (when I'm dropped as close to my house as I can through the bus route) and it's really cold and dark and I just want to go home.
I've finished QWOP before. Took forever because I shuffled there on my knees :jess:
Anyway yeah jogging is useless. Either walk or, if you're in a hurry, sprint. There is no sensible in between.
I wish I had the time.
