'Creepy' and/or psychic kids

I was at a friends house yesterday, and we were going to see a horror movie, she picked out 3 horror movies for me to choose from, and all of them involved a 6 year old-ish kid who was psychic. I pointed this out to her and she says kids freak her out. I was a bit amazed at how many chicken-fricken movies there are with 'creepy' kids. Let's try to list as many as we can shall we?

Carrie is a creepy psychic teenager. Dark Water is another one with dead zombie children.

The Grudge, of course. God, there are so many it's hard to remember all the names. Oh, the Silent Hill movie is another. :rolleyes2

Anyways, I can't stand ANY sort of media that uses "creepy" children. It's so overdone and predictable and so not scary oh my god. >=( Where has all the creativity gone!

Hahaha. We watched this together and had a gay old time with it. That's some good comedy.

Somewhat related. The first undead you see in the Dawn of the Dead remake is a little girl. She is pretty vicious and creepy.

well... "the children" isnt about psychic kids but its about murderer kids with a diseases. still quite creepy

Yeah same.

Any film version of The Turn of the Screw should be added to this list. The Innocents (1961, Clayton) is the most highly regarded.

That kid only got creepy after he started on crack. Although I guess some narcotics might make you think you're psychic.

He's psychic because he knows exactly what the robbers are going to do.

Whats that new one where the chick is haunted by her dead twin brother who died in the womb and she has two different color eyes and the ghost of her brother is like 8 and she's like 20 and the kid died at age ZERO. So it all connects together and makes total sense. And has lots of "I'm going to turn my head upside down and freak the crap out of you!" stuff.
